Title: Great kettle – does the job
Review: A replacement kettle was needed as the old one broke down. This was a necessity. Works fine, looks good and a good price. Might think about getting the matching toaster.

Title: Lovely design and extremely quiet!
Review: Kettle arrived today and I’m pleased with it.I wanted white, simple kettle for a while and bought SMEG for over £100. After a week I ended up with a kettle called MEG as the S fell off. Got money back from the retailer without issues as apparently its very common. Decided that spending that much money on a kettle was stupid and kept my eye on this one…After couple of months I decided to buy it!The plastic does not look cheap at all and the kettle looks slightly more expensive than it actually is. Compared to my original old kettle (which I had for nearly 10 years) it’s very quick and SO QUIET!It is PURE/SNOW WHITE and the cable is also white (I absolutely hate black cables!).The light glowing when the kettle is on is a lovely light royal blue colour. The display showing water level is very clear to me.Yes… people complain that the water level display is hidden behind the handle and it’s a stupid idea but I actually like it as it does not ruin the design and the kettle does not look like it has a thermometer stuck at the front!The lid pops up easily, quietly and slowly which again, makes this plastic kettle feel and look more expensive.This kettle is also very light due to the fact it’s plastic so it’s easier to use, especially for older people.The plastic does get warm after boiling but, as far as I’m aware, this happened with every single kettle I’ve used so I do not see an issue here.I also purchased the 2 slice toaster but I’ll review it separately once I’ve used. But they look beautifully simple in a kitchen and it’s exactly what I wanted.5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ so far

Title: Trendy looking and efficient kettle but be careful at the angle you pour.
Review: The high gloss finish and the boiling light on this kettle and the colour makes it really stand out in the kitchen and makes it look much more expensive than it actually is. The kettle is very quiet (quietest kettle I have had to date) when boiling and the time to boil is very good as well. Overall a really solid and good working kettle with a few drawbacks from what I can see:1) The pour rate could be a bit better2) The water measure is behind the handle so it hard to see3) The cup measurements I feel are a bit under than what they should be as you wouldn’t fill 2 mugs going by the 2 cups water level so would recommend putting in 2.5 or 3 cups.4) If you pour at an angle/tip the kettle that is too low then some water will start to leak out from the lid

Title: Fabulous kettle!
Review: I am loving this Breville kettle! Having purchased more expensive brands previously, I have come to realise that expensive is not always best! Living in a hard water area, over time, the chrome on the exterior can change into a limescale mess! I chose this for the reduced amount of chrome in the design. The switch for the top is perfect so don’t you have to take the lid on and off everytime you refill. A super looking kettle that functions lovely (nice little light whilst it boils).

Title: NOT CREAM COLOURED
Review: Firstly, this is a nicely designed if ‘retro’ kettle. The only other positive is it is easy enough to fill and the push button lid is nice even if it doesn’t always open very well.However, there are quite a few negatives.First and foremost is the colour. This kettle is not cream, it is more of a mocha or grey. See my pictures for comparison against my old cream kettle and my cream coffee machine. I’m REALLY disappointed by the colour as it does not match any of the other appliances in my largely cream kitchen.There are also other ‘niggles’It is loud, much louder than my old BrevilleThe spout is terrible. It looks large but the limescale filter reduces the pouring size to the extent that if you pour too quickly the boiling water will leak from the lid, this took some getting used to. you have to pour slowly to avoid leakage!Overall I would say avoid this if you want a ‘cream’ kettle I’ll be buying a different one in store so I can check the colour and donating this to a charity shop.

Title: Really lightweight and perfect colour for our kitchen
Review: Needed a new kettle and wanted one to match the colour of the kitchen cabinets. Came across this one and have been delighted with it. It’s very lightweight, which was an added bonus and boils very quickly and isn’t too noisy.
