Title: Useful but rather limited range of devices on offer
Review: Internally, this appears to be based on the eQ-3 (Homematic IP) equivalent product though the systems are not currently compatible – I did try. They are easy to setup but need to be deconfigured if the controller is factory defaulted. My setup was simply linking it to a couple of Universal switches though the app lacks a lot of features for my needs. A fair number of controller updates have been pushed out over the last year so there is hope the system will improve over time. I moved on from LightwaveRF but they may still be a viable option with their updated product range and the app was more feature rich, at least with the original range of devices I had.

Title: No complaints except price
Review: I love Bosch’s smart home system, it’s by far the most reliable, intuitive and best thought-out system I’ve come across. These plugs are no exception, fully integratable with other parts such as thermostats and motion sensors, as well as having their own raft ofsettings/options. The only downside is price, but you can usually find special offers popping up pretty regularly.

Title: Energy monitoring is useless and constantly losing connection
Review: I purchased 3 of these plugs to replace some older energy monitoring plugs and the bosch ones are not accurate and don’t give proper real-time usage of energy being used.The plug even though it’s 2 metres from the controller constantly losses connection.Waste of money especially as you’re also forced to buy the controller as well.
