Title: Excellent screwdriver, best cordless I have owned to date.
Review: Great cordless screwdriver. I have owned a number of other cordless screwdrivers over many years and for the last few years I have had a Bosch IXO screwdriver (the green “gun” type cordless) which has been good and very reliable. However this Bosch Go screwdriver is much better than any other cordless screwdriver I have owned. First off, while the maximum torque specs for the Go and IXO are approximately the same on paper, the IXO loses torque and speed rapidly as the screw becomes progressively tighter, as it is driven into the workpiece. This is not the case for the Go screwdriver, which maintains speed and torque much more consistently as a screw tightens, I assume this is because of an improved motor and control electronics. The Go also has a faster rotation speed, which reduces the time needed where you have a lot of screws to fix. Coupled to an accurate mechanical clutch torque control, the Go screwdriver provides a much more controlled and rapid experience. The “press-to-start” feature which starts rotation without pressing any buttons on the tool is useful and helps in particular where you are screwing in an awkward location. Finally, the Go screwdriver has a very slim shape and pencil-like design, as opposed to the larger gun type design in the IXO case and many cheaper alternatives. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the result is that you can grip the Go screwdriver almost as if it was a manual screwdriver to locate the bit in the screw or fixing and then press the tool inwards to start rotation.Overall then, a major improvement on the IXO screwdriver. The absence of a light, which the IXO does have, is a minor weakness but not a big issue given all the other advantages. I cannot comment on battery life and reliability as I have not had the tool for long enough, but my experience of Bosch has been very positive over many years so I am confident I will not encounter problems. Highly recommended.Update: After a few months of use, I continue to be impressed by this screwdriver, it is excellent. Battery life is very good and recharging is fast. Once or twice I have switched back to my old Bosch IXO and have found it a frustrating experience compared to the Go screwdriver, it is much slower and not nearly as powerful. In fact I have recently bought a Bosch right-angle fitting for my IXO so it is now permanently dedicated for use in tight or confined spaces, where the Go screwdriver is too long.

Title: Surprisingly powerful cordless screwdriver
Review: After unboxing the Bosch Professional go 2 it was obvious that it was very well made. Good sturdy storage box containing the tool itself and a very comprehensive set of bits which are typical Bosch quality. Good strong well Finnished steel. The actual driver feels good in the hand, very solidly built. Considering it’s size, it is very powerful. It also has a “Push to Go” system which starts turning when pushed into screw. It takes a little getting used to but, is very useful once mastered. The various tork settings are extremely good ranging from soft to high, and can easily drive a 2″ screw into wood. My only very small niggle is it’s supplied charging lead is micro USB, when I think type C would have been better. But overall a very good set in my opinion. The supplied hand book is a bit over the top catering for every language known to man but, a small price to pay for an excellent set worthy of a 5 star recommendation. If you need to do lots of screw driving, it will save a lot of wrist fatigue. Great little tool, once again beautifully made by Bosch.

Title: Solid, well made, light, easy to use.
Review: I often change the direction button by mistake, which is annoying when you haven’t noticed.On numerous occasions the magnetic bits do fall out, this may because I use Wera 89mm long bits.I use the driver in a manufacturing environment, using a minimum size of 3mm screws. The drivers highest torque setting is very strong and will snap these heads off if not careful.I highly recommend this driver to anyone else in the industry, so much so others in my department have brought the same tool, all stating they love it too. I Should have bought this years ago.A+ Product.

Title: Excellent Bosch Product
Review: My third Bosch chargeable screwdriver and the second of this type. Purchased again because it’s near perfect for me and in constant use inside and outside the home. It’s reasonably lightweight, fast charging via an included USB cable, powerful and intuitive (clockwise/anti-clockwise/off). It’s perfect for those jobs where a larger and bulkier impact screwdriver isn’t required. The included ‘bits’ are a bonus. I confess Bosch is my go to brand for just about anything but if this product suits your budget I trust you’ll be similarly impressed.

Title: Handy and Innovative Electric Screwdriver
Review: This is the pro version of the Bosch Push-n-Go screwdriver, apart from coming in the professional blue colour and being about £10 more, why would you buy this rather than the DIY model? It’s the same voltage, speed and torque – about 10% more than the Ixo. Same battery capacity, 1.5Ah according to the manual. I really like the push to start feature, basically you just apply pressure to the screw and the tool will soft start. In use it put a 5mm self tapper into birch ply with no problem at all. If you fit a suitable hex shaft bit it will also drill a pilot hole if you need one. There is also a switch on the side so you can start it simply by squeezing the handle. So, why buy this and not the green one? Well, it’s blue and with Bosch, blue is always better! Plus, the manual does not say but I’m pretty sure it’s a brushless motor – there is certainly nowhere to change brushes so I hope so. It looks like the battery pack can be replaced if it ever goes although that would probably need a service agent. It has the aforementioned side switch which the DIY version lacks. It comes with a set of S2 bits in a neat little slide case and the whole thing fits neatly into a mini L-Boxx (provided) which is nice if you are a fan of the L-Boxx system. A few things I was not so keen on, the side start switch is VERY sensitive, this is good in a way but you have to remember to switch it to manual using the forward reverse switch or it would be forever starting up in your pocket which could get ugly. Also the supplied bit set only has one PZ2 bit and that’s the one you probably use and lose most often. But all that is very picky, overall a very useful and well designed addition to the toolbox.
