The cut HSS twist drill bit cuts into metal with maximum precision. The self-centring cross-bored drill tip with a tip angle of 135 degrees enables perfect centring without slippage. The cross-bored drill bit tip eliminates the need to punch or pre-drill up to 10 mm in diameter.
HSS metal drill bits are suitable for making holes in alloyed and mild steel, cast steel, cast iron, sintered iron, malleable cast iron, non-ferrous metals and hard plastics. The shank is cylindrical, i.e. the shank diameter corresponds to the drill bit diameter.
Suitable for all commonly used drill stands and drill drivers with a cylindrical shank system.
The cut HSS twist drill bit is manufactured in line with DIN 338. It is a type N drill bit (small flute angle) with a 135 degree drill bit tip and diameter tolerance h8.
