Title: Brilliant Addition to the 18v cordless range
Review: Comes in a cardboard box only (no case), but to be fair, it fits in my box of other 18v cordless stuff, so for me, no problem.This is a powerful drill, in fact until I tried it (on masonry) I would not have believed it would do such an amazing job. The power from this small but solid drill, is a total surprise. I prefer to use cordless whenever possible, but normally for drilling masonry/bricks/concrete etc I would use my corded drill – also Bosch – which never let me down. However, now I have this cordless one perhaps I will have to assign my corded version to the cupboard in the workshop.The unit is quite heavy for its size and yet feels really comfortable in the hand. As an impact driver, drill and a screwdriver all in one, this has to be one of the most useful tools I have. On top of that, the ability to just pull off the chuck and replace it with the magnetic screwdriver one is possibly a game changer for many.(OK I admit, I am a Bosch lover anyway!)Brilliant – Highly Recommended.

Title: Good Drill but will need to buy a battery and charger
Review: Bosch Cordless Hammer Drill AdvancedImpact 18V-80 QuickSnap (for Drilling and Screwdriving; 18V System; Brushless; 82 Nm; 13mm Drill Chuck; Auxiliary Handle; without Battery)I ordered this bosch Cordless hammer drill so I could do some DIY in my house and I was impressed with the quality of the drill it does feel quite heavy to me but I husband felt it was just right for him to use.We didn’t have any batteries and as this was our first power tool we didn’t have anywhere we would put it. As this drill comes in just a cardboard box we had to buy a case to keep it safely and we had to buy a battery and charger to be able to use it.I do think this is a good hammer drill and I love the magnetic end to hold the screws more easily and my husband felt it’s a game changer for our DIY and will make it so much more quicker to do our DIY.I have taken off a star because you have to buy a case and battery and charger but I would recommend this especially if you already have a bosch battery pack then this is perfect as you can use it on all their power tools. I will be buying more of the range and I am very impressed with this drill.

Title: Powerfull and universal drill for DIY but slightly too pricey
Review:  Firstly, I need to say it is fantastic hammer drill overall.For Bosch Home and Garden line it is very powerful hammer drill. It doesn’t feel that powerful at first when you pick it up from the box (without the battery) because it is super lightweight.l and fairly small. I was surprised by the lightweight of this unit even when I plugged the battery in. I used big Makita 5Ah battery with adapter and was still surprised with how light it was. I can imagine with original Bosch 2-3Ah battery it will be even lighter which makes it a perfect tool for anyone. Very easy to hold and use and your hand doesn’t feel tired after few drills.The whole drill feels somewhat durable. It doesn’t feel as strong as professional tools but it does feel strong enough to make your DIY very easy.You have detachable chuck which is super easy to take off and put on. When you take it off you have magnetic hex attachment for all your bits. Magnetic force is quite strong so bits stays in place fairly well. You also get a magnetic screws holder. It allows you to hold screw very steady before starting to screwing it in. The bit goes into a hex attachment and then the magnetic holder goes on top. You stick a screw on it and when you press it towards the wall for example it compress and the drill bit gets it screw it in. Great idea but you need few practice runs to get used to it. For screws and bolts it is fantastic and it has plenty of power.However, for drilling walls it seems like it lacks of proper hammer drilling. Don’t get me wrong as it will drill a hole in any wall but with harder walls it looks like it does it slightly slower than I would expect and experienced with other power tools in my life. Fortunately, for bricks and plasterboards it is well good enough.Is it that good for this price – around £100 – for bare unit? It is fantastic hammer drill with very clever magnetic chuck that holds screws for you but you can get cheaper hammer drills as powerful as this one. Also you have to invest in a battery and a charger if you don’t have any which drives the price close to £200. That is fairly expensive and not sure if completely worth it investing. 5 stars because it is small and powerful and clever but it will be a great for someone who already have a battery and a charger.
