Review: After having thick, wavy hair all my life, I now have thin, curly hair after a year of chemo. I must have tried a dozen different blow dryer/diffuser combinations hoping to find one that lifted my new curls, especially on top, without creating frizz on the rest of my head.FINALLY, this one does!I wish I could put my finger on why for those reading, but there are a few differences in this hair dryer compared to others I tried. Mainly, there are two different… I guess you’d all them “heads”? One is like a typical diffuser, but the spikes are solid, making the head stay the right distance from my scalp the entire time, unlike the soft silicone ones that bend and allow the heat too close to the scalp. The other head is more directed. It blows air ONLY only the section I’m trying to dry/set, and that has been the game changer for lifting the hair on top of my head and creating body without making the rest frizz. The final difference is one that I don’t know how to explain. It blows air on the hair without blowing the hair. I don’t want it to sound like I think it’s less powerful – it isn’t in any way – but somehow the blowing air is dispersed differently or something, because despite drying my hair quickly, it doesn’t blow it all around, which seems to be what creates frizz with other dryers.I wish I had the courage to post a video, but I don’t, so all I can do is hope that I am explaining it clearly enough. This is the best hair dryer I ever owned and I am especially showing it to all of my friends with curly hair.

Review: There are three women in my family and we all have different hair types. I have fairly normal thickness, while one sister has very fine hair and the other has super thick hair that is a whole process to wash and dry. I’m happy to report that this worked great on all of our hair types and it absolutely sped up the usual hour long drying process for my sister with the thick hair. The diffuser also works great for setting curls after adding product. It’s not too loud for the size and I love that it has more temperature setting options than most hair dryers. I also love that it’s more compact than my old hairdryer which should make it an easier decision on whether I should pack it in my suitcase while traveling. I highly recommend it and know what I’ll be getting my sisters for their next birthdays!
