Title: Excellent add-on for your car.
Review: BOOMBOOST 10 Inch Car Monitor.I have fitted this monitor in my daughter’s older Ford Fiesta.It did take me a while to find a spot on the dashboard to fit the monitor as the footplate is quite wide and finding a big enough flat area meant it had to go in front of the car computer, you can also fit this on the screen but it would have been too far out of reach and the front-facing camera would have been obscured.If you are considering this monitor I suggest you find if you have an area that is flat and is at least 4 inches wide by 2 inches deep (look at the photos in the main advert to see the actual footplate) or that the lower part of the windscreen is close enough that you will be able to reach the monitor safely and easily.Once mounted on the dashboard setting up the monitor with your phone is very simple, in our case it paired immediately and was up and running in less than a minute.Everything is as it would be if you were using a factory-fitted monitor/sat nav/ carplay device, all very well laid out on a size 10-inch screen.We have yet to fit the rear-facing camera but it involves running a cable from the rear window right back to the unit which isn’t ever ideal but this is an add-on and not a fitted device.Overall, this is a great add-on for your car and is very well made IMO.Everything you need is right there on the screen, Google maps, text messages, phone etc etc.My daughter is very pleased with this carplay screen monitor, especially as a new-ish driver, the sat navigation is particularly helpful to her as well as the phone.There are many other activities this can do such as watching films (not when driving obviously).Ideally, you need an auxiliary port in your car to be able to play your Spotify etc music as the built-in sound is quite poor.Overall, very pleased with this car screen, good quality, easy set up and good screen resolution.

Title: Good Dashboard Screen
Review: This is an evolution of the previous model, with a slightly bigger screen, more solid fixing and slightly faster all around. Comparing it to the version currently installed, the screen is noticeably larger (albeit slightly) and perhaps brighter, with a better quality image. It installs using a pivoting bracket, with notches to change the angle of the screen rather than a plastic nut that gets loose. The UI is exactly the same, a Veyron start-up screen, with menus for Android, Bluetooth music, settings, etc. once paired I actually think it’s a bit faster to connect than my current model, time will tell if it remembers my phone consistently. The connectors for power and audio out are on the left hand side, so not so convenient for rhd cars, if you want to route cable behind door pillar trim, but it’s a minor gripe.As long as you have an aux input and don’t want to install a new radio in the dash, this is quite a strong contender for a dashmount Android Auto screen.
