Title: Useless, a complete waste of your time and money.
Review: I’ve owned one of these for a while, only today have I been moved again by its total uselessness to write a review. In short, it’s awful. I am used to using a corded vacuum cleaner, but when I moved to a new house with hard floors, I decided to buy something less cumbersome for daily cleaning. When I first used the Black+Decker out of the box, I was shocked at how poor the suction was compared to my corded cleaner.Over time it has rewarded me with new and exciting lows of performance.At first, I would use it only for in between cleaning, reverting to my corded cleaner when I wanted a more thorough job done. After a year or so of use, (and yes, I regularly clean the filter and charge the battery) I find that it just about manages with small amounts of dust. Paper thin piece of onion skin on the floor? No can do. Dropped rice crispies at breakfast? Better get the dustpan. They’re mostly air, for goodness sake.The suction is just slightly better than non-existant. I find myself using this £130 cleaner to push small stones and the inevitable dried peas (where DO they come from?) around the floor. Anything larger than a mote of dust falls out and back onto the floor as soon as you turn it off, meaning you inevitably have to hold the thing over a bin and shake the dirt out to make any effort worthwhile. All rather pointless.Can I review this lower than one star? Save your money.
