A random orbit sander which gives a perfect balance between size and power to deliver perfect sanding results. Featuring 1.3mm and 12 000 OPM speed which results in Good quality finish without “swirl” marks on the surface. Low profile provides better control and comfort during the application, while two grip areas with over mould improves the handling of the tool in horizontal and vertical applications. Dust sealed rocker switch is protected from dust blocking the switch. Improved dust bag design with finer mesh allows for a better airflow and dust collection of even smaller dust particles. Ideal for a range of sanding applications: sanding furniture, cabinet doors, door, railings or crafts. Powered with BLACK+DECKER 18V Lithium Ion battery, it gives approx. 13 minutes of performance. The sander comes a bare unit and the battery is not included, however it is available for a separate purchase.

Title: Much better than expected
Review: This is great. Compact, light and pretty powerful. I have other Black and Decker items, including batteries that fit and like all battery powered tools, how long they last depends on how good your battery actually is. I would suggest getting the 4amp battery, fast charger and some decent sanding discs – not the cheap multipack but a brand if possible. Then you are good to go and this is a super little sander that my wife now also enjoys putting to task. Only 1 speed which is a surprise but no big deal.

Title: Very efficient and easy to use
Review: Bought this sander originally to sand down some oak furniture that need refinishing. Great on flat or convex surfaces – easy to use and does a very clean job. Found all sorts of other uses since. Not designed for tight internal corners but that’s fine.

Review: This sander is great! I’ve always stood by black & decker and this is no exception. It does exatly what it’s ment to and does it well.I would say (as this is sold as a bare unit) that it’s probably only best to buy if you already have some black and decker batterys. They can be expensive separately. Add on that and a charger if you dont have those already and you could be looking at more like £100 spent in total to get it going. Just something to bare in mind if you’re new to power tools or if this is your first cordless buy.

Title: Battery Life
Review: The main problem is the battery life, it’s terrible, drains battery’s fast,twenty minutes tops for the life, and l have five battery’s all new this year, after an hour have to recharge all, l actually brought this so l would not have leads to worry about, in my man cave, and not have to run a lead to the cave, it works fine, handles fine, its just the battery life is so poor, starts to stop spinning, restart and then stops again, l can use my drill on that battery, thats dropping in charge, but it is not sanding

Review: nachdem ich schon einige Akku-Werkzeuge von B&D besitze, einschl. einem Ladegerät lage es nahe auch einen Excenterschleifer von B&D zu nehmen; Funktion = sehr gut; Handling = sehr gut; Black&Decker ist mittlerweile besser als sein Ruf … würd ich wieder kaufen!
