The BLACK+DECKER 18V Cordless Grinder is ideal for cutting metal pipes, removing rust from metal work, removing excess weld material, or mortar raking from between brickwork. Powered with 18V Lithium Ion battery, the motor delivers 8000 rpm to complete a wide range of grinding tasks. Die cast aluminium housing ensures optimum heat dissipation prolonging the life of the tool. No-volt release switch prevents the unit from unintentional starting when locked on for added safety. Review: Can’t go wrong with B&D! Used them for years and have always been my go to brand. And always good value for money! I’ve had a corded angle grinder for years but finally decided it was time to add a grinder to my cordless collection of tools. And so glad I did. Very easy to use and has a nice trigger action as a pose to the old button lock ones which makes it feel a lot nicer and safer!Only small problem I found is it’s very top end heavy. Not a big problem over all but can feel a bit unbalanced when you need to use it in an odd position or if you’re up a ladder for whatever reason… because it’s typically a bit longer than your average grinder for the added handle with the trigger and guard your hand is further back on the tool. Meaning all the weight that’s inside the machine is towards the top. Not a big problem overall. Not worth giving It any less than 5 stars still. But something to consider depending on what you plan to use it for.

Title: Perfect for small jobs
Review: I do some carpentry as a hobby and this item has been fantastic so far. I have the 4A large battery and I had read in the reviews that it lasts 20 minutes. In fairness, the only time I managed to deplete a full battery was by sanding two full railway sleepers in one go, really working hard on smoothing some areas and carving a few millimeters in some places I needed for a perfect joint.Most of my angle grinder jobs can be completed in less than 20 minutes and I really appreciate the convenience of having no cords or worrying about plugging it. If you need to do a heavier job, a corded one is advisory. I have even considered having one each, but in reality I dont have enough need of larger jobs to justify anything beyond this.It is heavy and sturdy, I have other 18V B&D tools so I can exchange batteries and by far this is the heaviest.I have sanded and carved wood, it was super reliable and I am delighted with it. I have bought a few 125 and 115mm standard discs and they all go perfect.I have both an 4A and an 1.5A B&D batteries. This item and the circular saw are not as strong with an 1.5A battery as with an 4A, even if fully charged. I would not advise intending to use this with an 1.5A battery, not to mention that you wouldnt stretch much longer than 5 minutes out of it.

Title: DOESN’T COME WITH CUTTING GUARD
Review: What’s not made at all clear from this product listing is that this angle grinder is only usable for grinding and NOT cutting, because it doesn’t come with the right guard for cutting. It says in the manual you have to source it separately from Black and Decker and I am finding this impossible. Useless. I realised this just over 1 month after my purchase when I first went to use the grinder. It was too late to return it. I’d also already nought cutting discs for it. What a waste of money. I’m done with Black and Decker.

Title: Excellent tool.
Review: This grinder is an excellent tool. Plenty of power and easy to handle. Best part is that it works with U.S. 20V (max) lithium batteries (have several of them) as well as the 18V (nominal) lithium batteries used on the east side of the pond. Has a decent spindle lock and comes with a spanner wrench for installing the wheel as well as with a 6.5mm thick grinding wheel. The wrap-around handle keeps your knuckles from scraping on the work. Expensive going to the States, but worth it (they’re not available here for some reason.)

Review: Smerigliatrice a batteria (non inclusa!) davvero efficace. Mi ha stupito positivamente avendone sempre usata una 220v. La comodità di non avere il filo è impagabile. Ora posso lavorare dove prima non avrei mai potuto fare (in campo o in vigna per esempio). Buona impugnatura. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è davvero interessante. Avendo anche un trapano avvitatore con il quale condivido le batterie, è davvero comodissimo e non si rischia di rimanere senza alimentazione. La potenza è più che buona. Non mi posso ovviamente esprimere per la longevità, visto che il prodotto mi è arrivato da pochissimo.

Review: Maniable et légère, cette disqueuse est facile à actionner et à manipuler.Elle a une puissance moteur inférieure (800 W) à une disqueuse équivalente sur 220V (1 000 à 3 000 W), mais elle très pratique pour couper des tuiles sur un toit, tailler de pierres en bout de jardin ou tronçonner des arbustes sans devoir s’embarasser de rallonges.Le bruit est du coup inférieur à celle filaire.De grosses batteries (>4Ah) et les disques adaptés au travail sont à prévoir.Je regrette l’absence d’un anneau sédentaire de la disqueuse pour l’y accrocher à une sangle ou un harnais, ce qui est pratique pour se libérer les deux mains entre deux usages sur un toit ou une échelle.
