Review: This Link Cable from BJIDS is primarily intended for the likes of Meta/Oculus Quest 3/2/Pico 4 Accessories and PC/Steam VR, where a large amount of movement would occur while connected in use, and of course still be able to provide sufficient power needed to immerse oneself in a superb VR gaming experience.The makers BJIDS have listed all compatible devices, and despite the length of this superb cable, it still performs data transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps, and without any delay at all.Still has great flexibility, and a maximum current handling of 3 Amps to charge gaming accessories too while in use.This extra long thick cable is equally perfect in several other ways.1. The Right angled USB C plug, puts much less strain on the valuable phones’ USB C socket.2. This Longer 10 foot cable means you can use phone while charging without strain on the normally shorter cable types, which again would damage both your charger and phone, because of the “pulling use” caused by shorter cables..3. No loss at all, still fast charges even with this longer length of cable, at a generous 10 feet.I have other included 7 images of the cable in and out the packing, and also in use, and some of theseincluded images are the makers description images. Title: High quality, good price
Review: Three metres is as long as a USB lead should be, in my opinion, for lots of reasons – but mainly because I don’t have five metres to spare that would require anything more!My Oculus/Meta Quest isn’t mine yet. I have to wait for my friend to upgrade, so I’ve tested this using generic equipment and a knowledge of the headset. And it’s good! My phone topped itself up at 15W (just before I got the photo it hit 100% charge – typical) and, as is necessary, it’s a proper USB 3.0 lead. Data will flow properly.Physically, a nice nylon braided cable – in 2024 I only want braided cable, thanks – and the plugs at either end have really good strain relief. 90 degree connectors are essential for things you move around while plugged in (just like a power bank in a bag, charging something up).£13 – a rather good price for a decent lead of this length. Recommended!

Title: A good quality cable, for both charging, and data transfer
Review: The right-angled USB-C plug, on this USB-C to USB3 Type-A cable is really handy, if you want to use your device whilst it’s charging, as inevitably, the cable gets in the way! However, it’s not just a convenient charging cable, it will also allow you to do fast data transfers between devices (e.g. between your phone and laptop).3m (10ft) is a useful length, and allows you good flexibility. The cable itself is flexible, and coils nicely, and with its braided sheath, it should be hard-wearing. The metal encased plugs have good strain reliefs and fit securely in the sockets, and all internal contacts are gold plated to ensure a good connection.Recommended.

Title: Works well, USB 3 connects to Quest and PC
Review: This 3 meter USB 3 cable is great for the Meta Quest as it allows the Quest to be connected to a PC for PCVR gaming, data transfers etc along with charging the Quest as you play along. Unlike other Quest cables, this one is only 3M long so less to get tangled up in which is very handy if you are sitting in front of the PC.Being a USB C connection, this can also be used with a mobile phone, or any device that has a USB C connection, again very handy. The cable is a braided cable with good quality connections at either end, meaning this should last you longer, with the USB C connection being a right angled connector which fits the Quest port well.Overall, a great sized USB C data cable/link cable for the Quest.

Title: useful 3M USB cable
Review: This seems a good 3M USB cable with USB A at one end and USB C at a 90 degree angle connector at the other end. The cable seems well made and attached into my computers easily. The 3 meter length is really useful.I am not sure about all the mention in the advert about Occulus software etc, this means nothing to me but the cable itself works very well.. as a cable. It has a nice small velcro strap and a plastic bag for storage and handy tidying up when it is not in use. Not sure what else one can say apart from I will report back if there is anything else to add as usual.

Title: Underwhelming
Review: I predominantly got this to connect to my Quest 3 to see what it was like for wired VR gaming as I do usually play wireless.The Bjids cable is definitely long enough at 3 metres and is nicely braided so feels quite rugged. That is where the good news ends though.To test file transfers I connected the cable to the USB 3.2 port on my PC and to a known fast USB memory stick. Copying a 30GB file the cable barely managed an average 45MB/sec which is significantly below the 5Gbps (625MB/sec) claim. For info, the memory stick I used has no trouble transferring at a consistent 150MB/sec via the same port on my PC.Next I connected the cable to my phone and plugged it into a wall plug that is capable of charging at 55 watts. I used my power meter to test the draw and this cable could not even manage a consistent 4 watts, hovering between 3.5 and 3.7 watts. This is considerably lower than the drain a VR headset will make (15 – 25 watts). A good cable should be able to maintain (or almost maintain) the power required.Given how badly this cable failed the first two tests I have not bothered with the wired VR gaming test. There are far better cables out there.

Review: Good quality cable and length is amazing 3m more than most people need. Braided for better protection. Both connectors are made from metal and plastic. Such a shame is only 3.0 usb and the manufacturer do not mentioned on the connectors that what version of usb 3 it is. The great feature is that the USB-C side is angled which gives more flexibility vs straight cables. Overall great build quality. Thank you.
