When you remove the nylon pads, the edges of the pliers are finished properly with burrs and rough edges on them. The jaws also have a cut-out towards the hinge, so aren’t flat the whole length. The grips are okay but feel really cheap and there is some sort of black oil that leaks out of the hinge when placed hinge side down. And keeps on leaking.On the upside, the jaws open to a maximum of 9mm at the tips, down to 3mm nearest the hinge so should suit most needs. The nylon pads ensure that you won’t get any saw marks on whatever you are working with (unlike with normal pliers), and you get a spare set of nylon pads.If you need to work with fine materials and don’t need to exert a lot of pressure on it, then these pliers will do the job. I can’t see them standing up to the type of use and abuse normal pliers are used for, but then they are meant for fine work. I think the price is far too high though so in balance I am giving 3 stars to these nylon jaw pliers.
