Review: If you compare the toastie with one made in the oven or the grill, you’ll be disappointed: it will be a bit soggy and will have overall less flavour than the real thing. However, if you don’t have an oven / minigrill or you couldn’t be bothered to turn it on for a single toastie, this will work for you.Some tips:- Don’t use frozen bread, as the water content will make it even more soggy- Put a plate under the toastie maker, especially if you like yours fully loaded with cheese- Wait a few minutes when the toastie is ready and it will become more crispy

Review: I thought the grill plates were just anodized black, but they are coated with a black ant-stick layer (of probably PTFE). Anti-stick can mean different things, it wasn’t specified. I used a *rounded* butter knife to scoop up a cheesy sandwich I had just grilled, and that scratched the anti-stick layer right off.Don’t use metal cutlery or tools on this.
