Title: Great space saver – just flatten it and pop it in a cupboard.
Review: I bought this for myself and didn’t like using it – I’ve always had a solid basket and I discovered that I actually lean on the basket as I put the washing into the washing machine – well when I leaned on this one it just gave way. I also find it a bit wide to balance against my hip – I have quite short arms and it isn’t shaped at one side like my old basket. So I was disappointed but – I gave it to my son. He absolutely loves it. He lives in a flat and loves how it folds flat to be stored. He hasn’t had one before so he isn’t used to anything different. He doesn’t have my problem of it being too wide.So although it doesn’t suit me, it is a very good, well made product and it suits my son.

Title: Good size, sturdy but a bit stiff
Review: The basket itself is a good size when extended (roughly 11″ deep) and folds down to around 3″. The handles provide a good grip and the whole thing feels solid – I don’t think the sides are likely to rip or come apart.My only problem is that it can be a bit tricky to collapse/extend. I’ve taken to pushing it out with my foot, which works fine, and then shoving it back down in stages. When my mother visited she was unable to fully collapse it back to its smaller size which makes me think its stiffness makes it less suitable for people with weaker arms / less dexterity.This is our second basket: the first one arrived late, poorly packaged (wrapped in bubble wrap in a plastic bag) and when we opened it the hard plastic outer ring was cracked. On contacting the suppliers customer service a new basket was sent out with much better packaging (bubble wrapped in a cardboard case). The delay was irritating but the supplier were polite and dealt with the matter in good time so I’d probably still use them again.

Title: Split after 4mths
Review: These were great for the first 4 months (we purchased two of them). They are a good size and easy to carry and use.When you try and collapse them after a couple of weeks that becomes a little more challenging as some of the folds were not collapsing properly and were sticking out but that’s not the end of the world.Sadly, now all the folds on the basket are split somewhere and the splits range from about 10cm and then larger so it’s not small.I think if we carried on using it the bottom would eventually fall off.If you intend to not use this on a daily basis then it’s great. The design of it and size is brilliant but didn’t work for us using on a daily basis unfortunately.
