Title: Ooh, early days but….
Review: Ok, so I bought this as I love a minty/mentholly shampoo and conditioner. There’s nothing like the tingle to make it feel like your hair is really being cleaned. My usual mint shampoo was ridiculously expensive at the moment so I thought I’d look for another. This one had good reviews so despite it being for men, I thought it’d give it a go. I have quite fine hair but there is masses of it, it gets great quickly over night and the ends tend to stay quite dry, so i end up having to wash it every day and conditions it loads. Here’s my review -The smell of both isn’t floral or sweet. It’s actually quite a fresh smell, not “manly” as you’d eclectic from a “man’s” hair product. Once dry it left a pleasant fresh menthol smell that wasn’t over powering at all. I really like the smell.Shampoo, I’m not sure it’s paraben free or sls free, it doesn’t say on the packaging, but that’s actually not a big thing for me (maybe it should be, but that’s just how I role). It lathers up really well so you don’t need much. It gives a confidante cooling feel and rinse out well, it also left my hair squeaking (which I love)!Conditioner, not a very thick consistency, but not too thin either. It’s stronger than the shampoo when it comes to the tingle, I loved it but I can see others not so much. It conditioned my hair well, and once I dried it my hair felt smooth, soft and light, not weighed down.In all, I love it and if I carry on loving it I’ll buy it again and again! So far I’ve only used it once and been impressed, after being let down by so many other minty/mentholly product. The ultimate test will be how continued use makes my scalp react. Even paraben and sls free ones can send my scalp mad after a while.Is anything changes I’ll update my review.

Review: Being a woman, I often find female products are designed to look and smell nice but are useless practically. I then came across this set for men. It’s the cleanest and healthiest my hair has ever felt. I used to love the teal bottles from the urban rescue range but this blows it out the water.It smells amazing, feels fresh and leaves my hair fully cleansed and light. 10/10. Male-advertised products prove to be superior (yet again).

Title: Heads and Shoulders Above the Rest
Review: Pardon the pun in the title, I have used heads and shoulders 2 in1 all my life and think it’s a great product and great brand but this was a game changer that had my head turned.I’m black with Afro Caribbean hair and often after washing it may need to put in some hair product to keep it well conditioned, but since using this product if never had to anymore. Hair smells and feels great even days later.My wife who is a white redhead used this once out of curiosity and loves it too. She can’t stop touching her hair days after using it and thinks it’s far better than a lot of the stuff she normally uses.I have seen some reviews on here mentioned a “burning” sensation and while I cannot vouch for them, in my experience, there is a cooling tingle that is similar to what you get from mint. I never had any burning sensation even when leaving it in for a long time, I instead just noticed the mint like “tingle” which is quite refreshing.Overall I have been converted and if you have never used this before, all I can say is just try it. You will thank me later.
