Title: Lovely bit of kit, heats fast, battery makes it stable, can’t fault it.
Review: I often need to do small electrical repairs on boats, so this wee thing is a game-changer. No need for extension reels or gas pens. Once a battery is fitted it makes for a stable base and the provided holder works well. Controls are dead easy to use with a small temp display on the top. The iron heats up very quickly, sub-30s to get to 400°C; even a small indicator on the side of the iron as it reaches heat. Can’t comment on battery life, but with 5.0Ah battery I was able to do twenty or so joints with the battery still showing full LEDs. I did line the work up ready beforehand in case consumption was worse than expected. The only observation is it could be easy to forget to turn it off when done; I had to double check a few times. All in all, a great bit of kit to add to your Makita arsenal, and worth every penny.

Review: Top Produkt – heizt gut und schnell auf. Löten unterwegs funktioniert ohne Probleme. Endlich nicht mehr mit irgendwelchen Verlängerungskabeln rumkriechen weil man irgendwo an Ort und Stelle was löten muss… Habe „nur“ 5Ah Makita Akkus; bekomme die damit nicht leer…Lediglich – was auch andere schon geschrieben haben – der Akku rastet nicht ein. Mich stört das eher weniger. Darum: 5/5

Review: Akku-Lötkolben lassen sich in der Regel selten lange benutzen und müssen dann wieder geladen werden.Durch die Lösung die leistungsstarken Akkus vom Werkzeug zu verwenden, lässt sich der Lötkolben je nach Akkugröße stundenlang benutzen, ist der Akku leer, kann er einfach getauscht werden.Da ich nur Bosch Akkus habe, habe ich mir gleich noch einen Adapter dazu gekauft, da der Elektronikaufsatz nur für Makita Akkus passt.
