Title: A little goes a long way of this versatile treatment that is easy to wash out
Review: What i like about this product is that it can be used on skin as well as hair, due to the properties of the oil. In hair terms i would suggest this is a pre shower treatment, usually taking 20 – 60 minutes before you need to wash it out.Batana oil is a natural oil derived from the nuts of the American palm tree, Elaeis oleifera, primarily found in the tropical regions of Central and South America. For me, any treatment that can look after my scalp, my skin and my hair is worth the time and effort needed in order to build this into a routine, not every day, but certainly a process worth undertaking with so many benefits in the Batana Oil.The oil is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, which help repair and rejuvenate damaged hair.It can restore the natural shine and strength of hair that has been damaged by environmental factors or chemical treatments.Batana oil is known for its ability to stimulate hair growth. It penetrates the scalp, nourishing the hair follicles and promoting the growth of healthy hair.By strengthening the hair shaft, Batana oil enhances hair elasticity, reducing the likelihood of breakage and split endBatana oil is an excellent moisturizer for the skin. It deeply hydrates and nourishes, making it ideal for dry and dehydrated skinThe oil is rich in antioxidants, which help to combat free radicals and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Regular use can improve skin elasticity and firmness.Batana oil has soothing properties that can help calm irritated or inflamed skin. It can be used to alleviate conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. That is some resume, and that is what i like about this product, versatile and natural. With just a small amount warmed in my hands, i only have short hair, so easy to massage into my hair and scalp. The guidance recommends wearing a cap for 20 – 60 minutes which is easy enough, or tied up hair if you are longer.Rinse afterwards with warm water and continue to shampoo and condition in the normal manner. When it comes to skin application, the guidance is that you can mix it with a lotion etc as well, or apply direct to skin, remember oils go a long way, so just a few drops to begin with.Overall very happy to build this into my weekly wellbeing routine.

Title: It’s OK
Review: My hair is quite reasonable in length & thickness but I am thining a little so I was keen to give this a try.(my hair is quite short)Applied by warming between my fingers as per the instructions. Couldn’t really smell any scent but it did massage into my hair easily.Left it on for 4 hours and then shampooed as normal.Have been doing this once a week for a while now and can report I’ve had no nasty reactions.Sadly, I’ve had no obvious change to my hair either! However, I do sometimes have an itchy scalp and found this quite soothing!I also suffer from occasional eczema and was interested to see it might help with this – I’ll update the review once I’ve used it for this purpose. The price is very reasonable – and a little really does go a long way – so I’d say it’s probably worth giving it a try!

Title: So far so good, scalp happier
Review: Feels lovely on the scalp. I was careful not to use too much as I read it could be greasy. I left it on for a few hours rather than overnight to see the effect after washing my hair the next day. I’ve used it twice now and it’s very effective on my dry, irritated scalp. Let’s see how it goes with hair loss! I’ll update if it works on that aspect, but so far I’d recommend it lots.

Title: greasy weighted hair
Review: So mine arrived with half a CM at the bottom of the box so the whole jar was covered in it when opened :(I cleaned up anyway and got to trying this today. It says to warm between your fingers and apply to scalp for regrowth and hair for softness so I did both mostly my roots. Now I don’t have hair loss issues (yet) I am newly turned 40 & I keep getting adverts targeting me DAILY about my age & what is to come for me EEK.So hair loss and thinning hair seems to be a big issues. I did some homework and some feel starting ‘early’ like my age now can help avoid or at the least lessen my possible future hair nightmare. So today I warmed this between my hands, I am disappointed to say it has no scent 🙁 I really like my hair products to have a scent. It is easy to apply I didn’t do too much as this was my first time trying this, I then applied a shower cap as instructed and waited 30 minutes until I could wash my hair like normal. It felt normal when washing my hair but when I was blow drying I could feel something wasn’t right, it was taken far too long to dry, normally its somewhere one to two songs but today it was more like 9 songs! When it was ‘dry’ I air quote this because it didn’t feel fully dry in parts no matter how much I dried my hair and I didn’t want to risk damage to the rest of my hair that did dry but anyway I ran my hands through my hair and feels really thick and heavy and I didn’t like it at all so looked in the bathroom mirror and sure enough it doesn’t look like I’ve washed my hair, it looks greasy like WTF ?!?!?!?I really didn’t want to wash my hair again but I did and I still had similar issues, it was still too long to dry my hair and still feels thick and greasy it looks it and feels it :(Well I wasn’t washing again so I tied my hair but I feel a bit ick my hair doesn’t feel like it should, I am just trying to not touch it and will wash again tomorrow and hope it is finally washed out. When I say I washed my hair I used both shampoo & conditioner both times to try remove this product.I don’t like feeling ick no woman does so I sadly binned this. I won’t ever use again and I wouldn’t want anyone else I know to try it & have same experience it doesn’t feel nice, it was annoying washing and styling my hair twice to have to tie it back.

Title: No noticeable improvement yet
Review: My hair type is wavy and already quite thick so I used this as a hair mask to improve the condition. The oil is quite thick in the jar and has a faint nutty scent. I left it on for 20 minutes as the instructions stated, but unfortunately it didn’t really make any difference to the appearance or condition of my hair on first or second use. It may be that it shows results with continued use, but so far I see no improvement.

Review: I ordered a different brand prior to this one, and this one is hands down was quite a bit better. The other product I bought was scentless (and I suspect not Batana at all), but this one in in comparison does have this luscious coffee like scent that I read was typical to Batana. This one, thankfully, seems like the real deal. The texture has a light oil feel. I used it on my hair to tame fly-aways on dry hair. It worked well for that. I’m going to try to use this for other things as well, maybe full on oil treatment next. I just love this coffee scent. Overall, I’m fairly happy with this.

Review: I really wanted this to work, but instead of a fuzz of new hair growth, I got blisters on my scalp. I have traditional kinky hair that many black people have, and it is very dry, so when I read one review that mentioned that this was a very heavy oil, I actually liked that. While I like the weight of the oil, and the fact that is has no odor, it irritated my scalp terribly, and that led to blisters and sores. Awful. I gave it a few days despite the minor irritation, in hopes that I would see at least a little fuzz in the thin areas, but nothing. The picture with the burst blister is in the front of my head, so I was able to get a clear picture. The others are more on top, but hopefully you can see the blisters. I’m not broken hearted, but I am a little disappointed.

Review: A little goes a long way. It smells great. I rub it through before showering and leave it on for 15-20 mins. I do my normal haircare routine after. My hair has been less tangled and more shiny . I haven’t noticed any greasiness but I do go lightly on my scalp and have dark hair
