Title: BADGER. Brilliant, effective & smells great.
Review: I have used Badger Sunscreen twice on two separate holidays now. Once in Cyprus where temps were regularly 38-40 and this year in Tunisia which was mainly between 34-38. I bought this due to reviews for protecting new (and old) tattoos in the sun. This cream (when applied correctly) does exactly what it should. I applied factor 30 Badger on my old and new tattoos and on my little girl (5) and none of the area it was applied burnt at all. When I compared the areas I had used a chemical factor 50 the difference was incredible and in the area without Badger applied I did get burnt. The problem was that it is quite thick and does “block” the sun so you don’t get any change of colour in those areas where applied. Which was absolutely fine by me as my daughter was not on holiday for a tan and burning/tanning my tattoos was not what I was looking for on my holiday. I wish I had taken photographs of the places where Badger was applied compared to SPF 50 Nivea to show the ability of Badger to effectively screen my wife’s tattoo. Amazing stuff, smells lovely and does what it should. I will continue to use this on my shoulders and face in temps above 30.

Title: Great mineral suncream. Five stars.
Review: I absolutely love this suncream. Hardly any ingredients and what ingredients there are are safe on the skin, which is exactly what I want for my children.This hasn’t got all the chemicals that prevents that white look, but that can be avoided.If you put on a little bit on at a time you can blend into the skin, and minimise the whiteness.I used to pile on the cream and my children would look like Casper! Ive since learnt a little at a time drastically reduces that.I also use this around my eyes, preventing crows feets. A take a tiny little bit on my ring finger and pat it around the eye.This isn’t a once a day cream, be very careful about those who claim they are. As there isn’t any scientific proof to back these claims.Great price and more importantly great ingredients. This is way we go back to Badger every year.

Title: Perfect Eco and sea friendly
Review: Actually pleasantly surprised. If you want to help the environment and coral reefs this is perfect guilt free solution. Consistency is a little tacky to touch, and thick, however it does rub in, you just need to preserve. This was the sports version and worked well especially as i spent most of my time in the water. I would say I put this on more frequently than I would if I used normal sunscreen but I just didn’t want to get burnt and wasn’t sure how it would protect.

Title: Highly recommend it
Review: Great sunscreen and I’m very glad to have found all 100% natural and mostly organic without any nonsense stuff inside. I just couldn’t believe how hard it is to get a decent sunscreen in a regular shop or pharmacy so I had to order online and I was hoping this one will come in time for our camping trip on one of the hottest weeks in the year. And it did, came right on time and worked wonders. We camped 4 days in a blazing sun with no shadows to hide under and neither of us got burned what’s so ever. Just one downside, that it’s quite thick and leaves you ghoasty white, but not for long and that’s a small price to pay for a healthy sunscreen cream that kept our whole family protected on the worst sun of the day. Also, the water resistance was great too. We were in and out of water all the time and it stayed well on and made me ever happier knowing it’s not harming any of the sea life.

Title: No reaction to eczema child!!!
Review: Absolutely fantastic!We normally use organic green people spf 30 on our little eczema 7 yo. However, there seems to be an issue with it ok amazon and unable buy. So researched and found this one. Used it for the first time on very hot 26’ day at the zoo in Essex and oh my! What a fabulous suncream! A little goes a long way. The smells is amazing! No reaction, no little bumps formed on the skin, no itchy red patches, no burn!! It is a smaller tube for the price but so worth it. It is quite thick, but rubs in well and quick and leaves the skin so silky smooth too 🙂

Title: Super scrummy
Review: Only used once on my three year old and very impressed. I agonised over this choice for a long time…The cream is thick and does leave a white residue and I can see this being an issue if you are darker skinned. Fortunately, me and my son are milky white. The coverage is thick and there is some residue but not greasy and comfortable.The smell is lovely, like Terry’s Chocolate Orange. My son said ‘Yum!’A little goes a looooonnnnngggg way.

Review: This product should come with a warning and certainly should not be used by anyone, let alone children. I have just returned from a holiday that should have been a beautiful break but was ruined as myself and my children were badly burned on the first day. This was the first time I had used this suntan cream and I had researched it thoroughly. I have a 4 and a 6 year old and I am fanatical about making sure they never burn in the sun. It was our first day and we were in the sun for two hours, for all of that time my children were wearing hats and for half of that time the were wearing rash vests which protected their bodies. In that time I reapplied the cream 3 times all over. After two hours we went inside. As the day progressed we all got redder and redder and very sore. We were burnt beyond burnt. I was so confused as I am sure we would have got less burnt wearing nothing at all. My son’s entire body was red raw and he is reasonably dark skinned. Both children were up crying all night in pain and it took 3 days for it to settle down. I was burnt to bits too and so was my husband. We holiday all the time and I .have never come across this in my whole life. The cream is unfit for purpose and should not be used. We use zinc oxide suntan creams all the time but chose this one as there was one especially for kids. It really is a shocking product and should not be on the market.

Title: Great for eczema skin
Review: Safe to use for eczema-prone skin (I have been using it for 3 years and haven’t had any issues), nice smell and good sun protection. Suitable for surfing and swimming, as well (though you should reapply every hour!). Since it’s zinc-based, it leaves a white film on your skin. But it’s not too obvious if applied thinly.

Review: Hé bien j’en ai passé du temps a chercher une crème sans nano particules,et j’ai trouvé la badger,et c’est plutôt difficile a trouver en France.Et Amazon sur ce coup l’a hé bien elle est dispo régulièrement?Je fais attention a tout ce que je peux donner a mes enfants que ce soit la nourriture ou des produits divers.Oui il y a un petit voile blanc,mais franchement léger.Mais je peux vous assurez que je l’ai testé sous divers conditions estivales,France,Italie,Croatie ,j’habites prés de la cote aussi ,et mêmes aux heures les plus chaudes et ensoleillé pas un coup de soleil.Je vous la (les) conseille fortement.j’ai pris plusieurs fois des tubes différents de cette marque

Review: Im Zuge der Diskussion um die chemischen Keulen, die sich Sonnenschutz nennen und meiner Ansicht nach zur Verbreitung von Hautkrebs beitragen (wer sich schlau machen möchte, der berfage Frau Google und bilde sich eine eigene Meinung :-), bin ich auf diesen mineralischen Sonnenschutz gestoßen und bin restlos begeistert ….Vor allem die Sonnen bzw. Sonnencreme-Allergie meines Sohnes ist damit passé, keine Pusteln, kein Juckreiz mehr und eine schön gepflegte Haut. Und vor allem eine schöne Bräune … meine Kinder sehen nicht mehr aus, als hätten wir am Nordpol Urlaub gemacht (was bei LSF 30+ in gängigen Sonnenschutzprodukten ja so ist)Die Creme ist sehr ergiebig und lässt sich auch ziemlich gut verstreichen, es bleibt ein feiner weißer Film auf der Haut zurück, sie riecht gut, meine Kinder meinten, nach Milchschnitte :-), aber uns störte es nicht ….Achtung: Die Creme ist nicht wasserfest (nur ca. 40 Minuten), dh es muss nachgecremt werden, wenn sich Kinder viel im Meer/Pool aufhalten … Uns haben 3 Tuben für 2 Kinder für einen 2 wöchigen Urlaub in Griechenland nur sehr knapp ausgereicht, das nächste Mal nehme ich 4 Tuben mit …Der mineralische Sonnenschutz kostet also etwas mehr, wenn man den Preis einer Tube betrachtet; dennoch von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung, denn ich hatte das erste Mal im Leben das gute Gefühl, dass meine Kinder sich GESUND geschützt in der Sonne aufhalten !!!Ach ja: Der Beweis dafür, dass nur natürliche Zutaten verwendet werden, lieferte übrigens eine auf dem Balkon in der Strandtasche vergessene Tube: Die Ameisen lieben die Creme 🙂 … Das habe ich bei den gängigen Sonnenschutzkeulen jedenfalls nicht erlebt ….

Review: We have been using badger sunscreen for over 6 years, I can’t say enough good things about it!! My son has eczema, allergies and fair skin with white/blonde hair which is what originally had me looking for a better sunscreen when he was a baby. We have now moved into badgers kids and sports products these work just as well as the baby one. A few tips for using it that I wish someone told me: its thick, white and kinda hard to put on. put a quarter size squirt in the palm of your hand cup your hands and blow some hot air on it, mix it around with one or two fingers, the more you play with it the easier it spreads! I have left it in my hot car and that made it really go on easy!! I don’t rub it in till the white goes away, I put a nice white coat all over my son and within 20 min his skin absorbs it and I found that base coat makes the biggest difference. I now use Alba Botanica Hawaiian spray as a second covering after a few hours from the first coat. The spray drys faster so when your already at the beach/boat/pool its just more convenient to use as a follow up to the badger. When using the spray rub it in with your hand to make sure everywhere is really covered. I have tried using just the spray and he got burnt so I learned my lesson and Always start our day with a very good coat of badger. I also found that by using the badger first other sunscreens he is allergic to can be used later in the day. It almost seems like the badger puts a protecting layer on his skin. It has also helped clear up his eczema spots and protects his skin from chlorine in the pool. I have tried well over 30 different sunscreen products organic and regular this by far is my favorite even if it is the biggest pain to put on!!!
