Title: finally some beach waves!
Review: after losing my beloved ghd curve, i had to purchase an “emergency” alternative. this waver is actually pretty good for the price.pros: affordable. has different heat settings. is easy to use and leaves the hair with loose, beachy waves. comes with a protective cover and a heat resistant glove.cons: waves don’t really last very long so make sure you’re using a heat protector and curl activator to prevent frizz and fall out.

Title: Works okay
Review: I get on a lot better with curling wands than tongs, and wanted a bigger one to give me looser curls. This works okay, but because of the barrel shape it doesn’t always work first time. Works better on straighter hair.

Title: Kinks in hair
Review: Had high hopes for this wand. I’m very used to this type of styler so was excited to try the oval shaped barrel. Unfortunately it created kinks in my hair and the waves was not nice and soft. I got very long hair, might work better for shorter hair?

Title: Lovely loose curls, easy to use
Review:  As someone who never curls their hair, I am very impressed with how quick and easy this curler is to use. From the pictures you can see my hair straight, then after the first try on 190 degree setting, I left the curler around my hair for 5 seconds and saw a wavy, loose curl. I tried a few more sections and adjusted the thickness to see how tight or loose the curls can be. I used some hairspray to set the curls as my hair does not hold curls well and all day i had natural, beach wave looking curls. Very impressed and will use this from now on to add curls and volume to my hair instead of usual straight style. I am glad it comes with both a protective mat to rest the curler on and also the glove as I used it without the glove at first and burnt the tip of my fingershen holding the hair end in place around the curler. A recommended item that is simple and does what it claims.

Title: Not for me
Review: I couldn’t get on with this curler, I don’t know where it was user error or whether it was the product itself. I have shoulder length hair, and I couldn’t get a curl to happen! I tried a smaller piece of hair, same thing. It has potential to be great, I think if you have longer hair. I will just stick to using a straightener to curl from now on
