Review: These are great headphones, both the earbud and over ear headphones. The tone is excellent, with real clarity of sound. The TV Bluetooth box which comes with the set, enabling you to connect one or both of the included headphones to the TV, is really compact and easy to use. The signal provided to the headphones is excellent with no sound delay being experienced at all. I discovered that you can also use the headphones with other Bluetooth devices, using the earbuds with my laptop after having disconnected them from the small TV Bluetooth box which comes with this set. Title: Good all round value for money
Review: Bought these as I can’t hear tv at normal sound level and when watchin* with others tv is too loud for them. They fit the bill perfectly. They arrived well packed with easy to follow instruction. Plugged mine into tv headphones sound sockets with one of the wiring sets provided. Easy to install and pair with both sets of headphones. The ear pads do make m6 ears hot after a while but not too uncomfortable. The sound is pretty good although I did have a problem to begin with in that the adjustment I made to the headphones also adjusted the TV sound. After a bit of fiddling sorted that out so TV and earphone sound levels suited everyone. I have to say that for years I have been guessing a lot of the spoken word on tv and with these headphones I can hear everything including background noises as well.Easy to charge with provided cable. Over ear set used most but in ear set just as good only not as comfortable for me.Turning on and off and adjusting sound levels is easy with controls on left hand ear pad or in wire position for in ear ones.Overall great reasonably priced solution for me.

Title: Great value and can now visit loo without losing the plot!
Review: My hearing rapidly deteriorated following recent radiotherapy treatment and I was unable to hear our LG TV clearly unless the volume was turned up too high for my partner to tolerate. Now I don the (very comfy) over ear headphones and adjust the volume to suit my taste, even if the sound coming from the TV speakers is completely muted. Reasonably easy to set up although had to abandon the Quick Start Guide as being too bare bones for a non-techie like me – it’s written in 5 different languages so pity there isn’t one in English only, with more detail. Went online for the detailed setup guide and all was made clear. Only downside is trying to register the product with Avantree – their website keeps reverting to the US version and I input the Amazon order no. and product batch number but these were not recognised, so further proofs of purchase were requested. I’m not prepared to jump through hoops for what should be a straightforward process.

Title: Heavenly headphones
Review: Friend loves them. Now she can watch her tv as loud as she likes, without disturbing neighbours. Also very good when the neighbours occasionally become noisy, without yourself being noisy. I think they’re now glued to her ears. Installation very easy. Sound quality great. Very slight lag, but nothing that spoils the enjoyment of the product. Definitely recommend them.

Title: Absolute Rubbish – Avoid!
Review: I was really looking forward to receiving the two headphones and Bluetooth transmitter but after setting it up I realised I’d made a big mistake.Although the sound from the main headphones is bearable – I’d give it about 4 or 5 out of ten, the sound quality (and build quality) of the thin in ear headset is appalling – even turning up the volume to max makes little difference and the very cheap plasticky manufacture and finish doesn’t help.If you want a decent Bluetooth TV headset then go for a better established brand as the quality with Avantree is poor….

Review: The over the ear ones are good enough in tone. Not easy to charge though. The kneck fitted ones are really awkward to use. Won’t stay in the ear and the extra bud fittings won’t stay in. I suggest just buying an over the ear set with blue tooth transmitter.

Review: This headphone set is really great. You get a receiver and 2 types of head phones. One is earbuds and the other one goes over your ears. The sound is crisp and clear. The set-up is very easy and simple. This is the best earphone set that I’ve gotten. My next point is very important. Their customer service is superior. They are so fantastic I wish they would teach and train other companies how to do customer service. If you have any issues whatsoever you can email them and they get back to you asap. They are very friendly and easy to work with. I would rate them an AAA+++. I highly recommend this wireless headset for tv viewing not just because of the quality but also because of the customer service. The price is really good for this device.

Review: Took a while and some experimenting to get the right configuration based on the available audio outputs of our TV. Finally solved the problem. Wanted to allow the sound system to be controlled separately from Avantree D4169 system. The only way to do that was using the optical audio output from tv and connect it to a optical splitter (Andtobo Digital Toslink Fiber Optical Splitter). This splitter which I also purchased from Amazon has 1 input and 2 outputs. Allowed me to connect our sound system and Avantree D4169 system without any problems. Works great, there is no audio lag or delay.

Review: Eerst kocht ik een bluetooth zendertje om een van mijn vele bluetooth koptelefoons te kunnen koppelen. Snel teruggestuurd toen ik merkte dat het geluid van de tv ver voorliep op de koptelefoon. Zeer hinderlijk. Kreeg het geld keurig terug.Ik bleek eentje met aptx te moeten hebben. Dus kocht ik een aparte bluetooth aptx zender én aparte atpx koptelefoon. Werkten niet samen, dus (gratis) teruggestuurd. Kreeg keurig geld terug. Compliment voor Amazon.Daarna een RF ‘gehoorversterker’ gekocht, met van die dopjes in je oren en dat er dan een beugel onderlangs bungelt. Irriteerde al na 5 minuten het oor. Bovendien niks voor bijv. filmmuziek. Snel teruggestuurd. Wel zelf de retourkosten betaald, want er was immers geen defect.Vervolgens een RF koptelefoon besteld uit de categorie ‘tweede kans’. Deze bleek al direct dood. Mocht uiteraard terug.Uiteindelijk deze Avantree D4169 besteld. Fantastisch! Alles doet het direct en volledig. De koptelefoon zit perfect en heeft mooi geluid. Zelfs de hangende gehoorversterker is prima voor bijv. het journaal, want deze irriteert de oren niet.
