Title: A great reciever
Review: This is in use in a church providing us with the ability to link devices into the PA system with Bluetooth and it works extremely well. Moving the linked device some 3 metres away and even in a different room didnâ€™t seem to affect the pickup and quality. Shutting the paired device down for an hour then turning it back on resulted in reconnection within about 5 seconds. We found it frustrating trying to force it to pair with a new device by pressing the on/off button – too short a press and re-pairing didnâ€™t occur, too long a press and it broadcast â€˜turning offâ€™ over the churchâ€™s PA system – that will resolve with experience. All in all, a brilliant bit of kit, well worth its cost. We are delighted with it

Title: very good but not quite good enough for me
Review: arrived quickly – bit of faffing with the cable as it didnt seem to work but fortunately I had bought a spare which did work – connectivity was good , the sound was very good but it just wasn’t as crisp and clear as my hifi (naim speakers linn amp) usually puts out – sad!

Title: Solid Connectivity
Review: I’ve been using an Amazon purchased UGreen receiver on my fairly high-end hifi, which although had reasonable sound quality, suffered from intermittent stuttering in playback from my devices – even well within range.It took me a while to shell out for an upgrade â€“ a year in fact, as this new Auris is significantly more expensive. However, it has so far performed absolutely flawlessly. The sound fidelity isn’t noticeably enhanced from the cheaper one, although I haven’t done an A/B comparison. But the most important thing to me is that the audio stream is now rock solid. Range is also much improved. I couldn’t go into the next room with the UGreen, but the Auris is currently ticking along happily about 10 metres away, through two brick walls. Recommended.

Title: Strong signal and quality kit and sound
Review: So many of these around and the prices vary a lot. The high spec on this device drew me to it and I took the leap and glad I did. The sound quality is great and when playing through my home amp and speakers it sounds better than my wireless Bose speaker which costs double the price. The data reception stays strong at long range. I live in a mid-terrace house and went up into the loft room and could still stream music from my iPhone 5 to the ground floor with no loss. The build quality is great and nice looking, and unlike other more expensive devices has a well made antenna. Another review mentioned the blue light flashing which annoyed them, this happens when you are not yet or no longer connected to the device as you would expect, however it has a “power off button” on the front to turn the device off even when connected to a USB power supply. I recommend you purchase a power surge plug with a USB port (cost about Â£10) to protect device. Some amplifiers have built in bluetooth but I found some internal DAC specs fell short of what this device offers. It has transformed my music options. Very happy.

Title: Absolutely clear sound signal from device to speakers
Review: Having previously used an Eskin bluetooth adapter and noticing a lot of noise when connected to a pair of Beolab 6000 speakers, I purchased this Auris device after reading online reviews.The first thing to note is that the signal out on this device drives these particular speakers too loud despite dropping the volume on the mobile device to minimum. This means a strong output signal suitable for an amplifier but not necessarily directly to speakers which have no independent volume control. It would have been nice to provide a way to set the output volume on the device (or at least an app which could control the output on the device).The output quality on the device is superb, no doubt about it. Crystal clear highs, mids and lows. I couldn’t notice any background humming, crackling, hissing or buzzing even with my ears right up to the speakers.Second thing to note is that the device does indeed have audible indicators that it has been switched on, that the device has paired and when a device comes into range (which is superb by the way) that it has connected.Overall, a good device although on a hunt for a decent RCA level control!

Title: Maybe CD quality from Bluetooth!
Review: Having been disappointed with the older bluetooth devices such as Logitec my research led me to the Audioengine B1 and Auris BluMe which share a common highly rated Digital to Analogue converter. Both devices are similarly priced ( Â£150) and appear to be US developed and made in China and make similar claims of ‘CD quality’ output.I firstly ordered the Audioengine B1 but the fragile antenna broke off when I was attaching the connecting leads meaning that I was unable to test it.The Auris BluMe appears to have a better designed antenna, was very easy to set up and has very much impressed with its initial performance.Using an iPad with various on line sound sources, not to the highest quality standards, and plugged into my 20yr old HiFi system I am enjoying a stimulating musical experience with a good dynamic range and a nice separation of instruments in orchestral pieces.For me, it is too early to say if it as good as a CD played through a quality deck, but the music is significantly better than anything that I had heard so far from any bluetooth linked system.Expensive but provides for a very decent musical experience,Have since been able to compare the performance with a ‘lossless’ FLAC streaming source of BlueMe vs a Chromecast Audio device connected to my old amplifier via an Optical digital lead. Whilst the BlueMe was good the extra clarity and range using the WiFi/ Chromecast link has the edge!

Review: After a few months using this thing heavily, I’m in love.- Range: awesome. Obviously if you are sending through a bunch of walls it’s going to lose signal pretty quickly, but otherwise I’m able to play music on my indoor speakers while sitting outside, a level below, with a window between, 40ft away. You won’t be disappointed.- Sound quality: I have sharp ears and listen on high-end speakers (Focal 826s), and I’m shocked how crisp transients come through. It truly does feel “CD quality” even though I had my doubts going in. If there’s loss or distortion in the high frequencies or subs, it’s negligible, and complaints made by others about a loss in soundstage (or any major aspect of sound quality) were not noticeable. Plus, the BT sends so quickly between this and your device that there’s almost no de-synchronization if you’re watching movies or TV and want to make sure the characters’ lips move in time with the dialogue.- Setup: took me 2 minutes maximum, including the time I spent pulling my system away from the wall to plug the cables into it. Didn’t even have to read the manual. It’s very intuitive and very responsive. Then I’ve got it plugged into my receiver so every time I turn my system on, I just wait a second and the thing pairs to my phone with a “beep” ; there’s no hassle, no friction — I don’t even have to do anything. It works so well I forget about it almost entirely.- Build quality – while the plastic feels somewhat cheap on the power button, overall it’s weighty and sturdy and I have no concerns that the physical hardware. Time will tell about the electronics, but my overall experience suggests that corners were not cut there either. Works perfectly every time. Only issue is the cables it comes with — they feel pretty cheap and flimsy. They sound OK and it’s easy to get new ones, but on a hifi-marketed device you expect a bit more attention to be paid to something like that.- Conclusion: there’s nothing I truly dislike about this little guy. The cables aren’t great but who really cares? It delivers on everything I hoped it would do, and it’s worth every penny! Definitely recommend.
