Title: Very good upgrade 10/10
Review: Great graphics card for the price…This is an upgrade from a 750ti , some info that i managed to get over the course of about a month of heavy usage while paired with an i5 4460 and 8GB of ram:Temps under load : Never goes over 60-61 Celsius even after 4-5 hours of playing GTA 5 , Witcher 3 , Overwatch , Bioshock Infinite , CS:GO , Dirt 3 , Redout (all at ultra settings) , about 29-31 when not under load ( watching YouTube etc).Sound : when not on load you can’t even hear it , its starts being a little bit loud over 50% but not noticeable when i had my Headphones on my head with the game sounds , i tested turning the fans to 100% in MSI Afterburner and it sounds like an helicopter xD (My fan curve % was just taking the temperature and setting it as the fan% so at 56% the fans ran at 56% so it never got over 60% since the max temp was 60) ,FPS : ALL GAMES AT 1080p AND Geforce optimized (all the games were at a combination of Very High and Ultra ) -GTA 5 ~ 100FPS ( Game ran very smoothly,no shutters or frame drops never got under 70 fps even when very fast action was taking place in the middle of the city).Wticher 3 ~ 55 FPS ( Very good experience even under 60 FPS , even if the game ran sometimes at 45 fps , it was still a VERY nice experience)Overwatch ~ 140 FPS ( This is the only game that i had to change the settings from Very high to Ultra since it was not at the highest settings and i knew the game was gonna run on 100+ fps on those settings)CS:GO ~ 400 ( On the highest settings i had to change the limit of 300 FPS cap to unlimited ( fps_max 0 ) to be able to see the amount of frames i would get , so that blew me away since i couldn’t get over 200 with the 750 TI on mid-high settings )Redout ~ ? ( Actually didn’t test the game without the 100 fps limit , all the settings to ultra , never got one frame under 100 , just tested the game since i got it for free with the graphics card )Bioshock infinite ~ 150 FPS ( very nice game you should try it 10/10 would buy again )Conclusion – If you have anything older than the 900 series , and you want to upgrade that will make your computer able to run any game at high-ultra preset , this is one of the best cards there is , the 6GB of VRAM is MORE than enough for any game at 1080p or 1440p and even 4k , so this is future proof for 3-5 years , making it a great graphics card to get . If you are on a tight budget and you don’t want anything else than 1080p? just buy the 3GB version , in 1080p gaming , on any game you won’t use more than 3GB of VRAM for any of the current titles , and you will save about 50£ .ASUS GeForce DUAL-GTX1060-6G 6 GB Graphics Card – Silver

Title: Amazing graphics card
Review: Had mine for 3 months now. It’s an amazing graphics card.I’m running an I7 4790k @4.4ghz with 16gb of ddr3 memory.I can run BF1 and TitanFall 2 with max settings and always maintain well above 60 fps at 1080p.With slight tweaking of a few settings in these games I’m getting between 80 and 144 fps with very little loss in image quality!Pros: Silent at idle and only slight coil whine sometimes under full load above 144fps. With the fans set at a maximum of 45% fan speed it is also nice and quiet under full load. It runs all my new games at high frame rates and hits 144fps locked on all my old ones. The RGB lighting looks great in a windowed case and can match any theme. Very stable and I’ve had no issues with driver support. Low temperatures at idle, 25-30°c 17% fan speed and on full load (BF1) the max temperature is 65°c at 45% fan speed. You can run it at idle without the fans spinning if your PC case cooling is adequate. Easy game capturing using Nvidia ShadowPlay. Very Handy for montage clips or full gameplay capture. There’s also a little bit of headroom for overclocking if you are that way inclined. I usually run at stock, but when I did OC I found a stable one at +28 on the core and +200 on the memory. (up to 10fps more)Cons: If you’re running an Asus motherboard. It is most likely that the AI suite software will stop working properly. The error i got was ‘Access violation at address 05BE57A5 in module ‘Vender.dll’. Asus are aware of this bug, but until it’s fixed I’ve had to use my bios to control my cpu and case fans!Edit: This has been fixed in the latest version of AI Suite 3! My fans on the GPU are also quite loud above 50% fan speed, they rattle at certain speeds too. This is not really an issue for me as i use msi afterburner to lock the max fan speed at 45%. It’s most likely that it’s my particular card because my first GTX 1060 strix’ fans were noticeably quieter. (I had to return that first card as it was faulty. It had coil whine, coil ticking at idle and gave me green screen hard freezes!)So yeah, I really love this card. There are a few slight issues for me personally but nothing that couldn’t be solved with a bit of tweaking and some of my issues will most likely not affect your card.You can run all the new AAA titles maxed out at 1080p nice and quietly at high frame rates, making this card give you an awesome gaming experience! Speaking of which, I’m off to play some BF1 😉

Review: I just got the card today and haven’t tested it yet but it definitely wasn’t professionally cleaned so it’s a little suspicious already. One of the pictures I included looks like some kind of liquid damage. Will update my review after I test the card.Update 5/4/ 2023 card seems to be working so far so updated my stars.

Review: If these are still even available, they’re a great value for the money. I’ve had this one in a Linux system for years, and it’s worked without a hitch. Plays DOOM 2016 at 1080P and 60FPS (max my monitor will do) with all the image quality sliders turned up all the way.
