Review: Water in this kettle has no contact with plastic whatsoever! And that was exactly what I was looking for. Many kettles are stainless steel but have the plastic window..this one is a very good plastic free one for a reasonable price. Yes, you cannot see from the outside how much water it contains, but you are also not brewing your tea in microplastics (other than those already in water 🙈). It is a bit noisy and not the quickest, however it works perfectly fine and has lovely design!

Title: Would be perfect, but doesn’t boil!
Review: I chose this particularly as it has no plastic in contact with the water, and it was also stylish, suited our kitchen and keenly priced.However, I had to return it as it at best reached 80 deg C, which made for tepid drinks. Other than the core function, it was ideal! Disappointed but I can see I’m not the only one with this issue. Perhaps a bad batch but I’ll be spending my money (and a little extra) on an all-metal European made alternative instead that should be better quality and last longer and hopefully reach boiling point. None on Amazon at this time.
