Title: Plug doesn’t work but it worked using batteries.
Review: I bought this for my 6 y/o son. First, we tried using it with batteries ( 4 x AA, not included with the product) and it worked perfectly. But we tried using the plug, it wouldn’t work at all. We could hear a noise (probably from its motor) but the sharpener wouldn’t move at all. So, we stick using it with batteries. You also get 2 extra sharpeners (1 big and 1 small) which is great!

Title: Brilliant sharpener (sharpens from 6mm to 12mm)
Review: I am very pleased with my choice with this sharpener. It has two holes for sharpening your pencils. The smaller of the two is for pencils 6mm – 8mm and the larger of the two is for 9mm – 12mm. I have a few different kinds of sharpeners but I didn’t have one that is suitable for “Luminance” colouring pencils. I have not been able to use them since they became blunt so I am very pleased that this sharpener is perfect. The pencils have a slightly softer tip than similar colouring pencils but they never broke in the sharpener.I will add to this review after a few more months just to update this review about how the sharpener has worked. For now though I am very happy and it sits nicely on the desk and is pleasing to the eye.It takes 4 AA batteries but also has a USB and spare blades too. I found it easy to use and also to empty out the shavings too.

Title: Constantly comes apart
Review: As a teacher I go through many pencil sharpeners in a year. This was a replacement for one that had lasted a while but the motor finally gave up and died.Looks good, can take the chunky pencils as well as the slim ones and has a big side waste pot to hold the sharpening. However, the way that it is made, the actual design, is not so great. The actual sharpener is not firmly attached to the bottom of the device. It is slotted into the base. This means that after you sharpen a pencil and take it out, you often pull the sharpener out of the base as well. Meaning you need to empty it and manually put it back into the base. This becomes annoying as it happens so frequently.I would not recommend this pencil sharpener and I will not be buying it again in the future.

Title: Best electric sharpener
Review: Over the past few years I have bought several electric/battery operated sharpeners and this is by far the best! Very easy to use, less jamming, cleaner cuts and quicker. Excellent product. However if it is going to be near young children unsupervised, please note there is no guard cover over the larger sharpener and tiny fingers could fit in.

Title: Not The Best!!!!!!!!!!
Review: When I first recieved the sharpener it worked perfectly, about lunchtime, by early evening it was slowing as I had sharpened 15 – 20 pencils and touched up a few more. So I tried the USB wire and it worked great. Next morning I went to sharpen a pencil and, NOTHING! I checked the power point, fine. Put new batteries in and it slightly ‘kicked’ and back to NOTHING! So it was back in the box and back to Amazon who to their credit were as good as their word, refund was issued the next day when the sharpener made its way back to the depot. Also it’s back to the old fashioned manual sharpener, turn the handle, get a sharp piont!
