Review: The jug and everything is alright for a price like this but the lid is limsy and when your pouring the water it spills easily because of the flimsy lid I mean for this price is expected if you don’t care about that then but also make sure to wash the filter I think that’s common sense cuz that’s what the instructions tell U to do but yh wash before you actually use it cuz black water will come out I think because of the charcoal

Review: When our DAFI water filter jug started to look it’s age we decided to replace it and saw this Aquaphor Smile jug and ordered it not realizing it did not take universal filters, it said it took A5 filters but when you are looking for a new water jug you don’t question what an A5 is if it looks like an ordinary universal filter then that is what your brain tells you it is. The filter jug arrived and we immediately primed the filter and filled with drinking water but it tasted funny so primed the filter again. No it still had a weird taste, we left the filter soaking over night in a bowl of clean water, tried it again but still no difference so looked how much the new filters were, £14.99 for two and with no guarantee that the water taste would be improved and the filter jug only costing £9.99 in the bin it went as it was not worth all the hassle of sending it back so I do not in anyway recommend this particular water filter jug.

Review: I find this item quite difficult to fill up with the lid being more to the back of the jug. The quality is poor as the lid over the pouring spout has already broken off.
