Title: Heavy duty board
Review: Board is heavy, which is good. Seems very good value. Much better wood for a chopping board than some others, hint do not get oak chopping boards had one of those from John Lewis which was dreadful (splinters and colour leaching out).

Review: Hopefully everyone noticed that the product width shown on a photo provided by the seller is complete nonsense because it’s clearly not less than half the height of 28cm. So, for the record, the true dimensions of the “apollo THE HOUSEWARES BRAND Beechwood Chopping Board, Natural Wood, L 1686” are approximately 20 x 28 cm (7.9 x 11.0 inch). The board has nicely rounded edges and a cut-out handle, so the useable cutting area is about 17.5 x 22 cm (6.9 x 8.7 inch), and the wood is a nice chunky 1.8 cm (0.7 inch) deep. It amazes me that Amazon sellers (generally) are so bad at providing product measurements. Fortunately in this case everything else about the cutting board is good, although I really wanted one that was only about 12 cm wide. But I’ll survive.

Review: It states in the description that this chopping board is made of Beechwood grown in certified European forests. It states on the packaging that it is Rubber wood grown in South East Asia!! I think this is false advertising, giving false information.

Title: Bit small
Review: This board has measurements on the listing but I (stupidly) decided to use the knife on the packaging as a guide to how big it may be. It turns out the knife that I thought was meant to be a large, carving knife was actually a pairing knife meaning this board is quite small. I just wanted this to be a warning to people who use visual guides. Otherwise the board is okay, there is not much else to say about it.
