The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral yesterday afternoon.

Queen Elizabeth was our longest reigning monarch, and she will be sadly missed. On behalf of Bargains House, I would like to pass on our heartfelt sympathy to her family. During her reign, she was devoted to her duty and was respected for her strong leadership at times of national crisis.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has died after 70 years on the throne, with her death announced by Buckingham Palace on September 8, 2022.

She died at the age of 96 surrounded by her family at her home in Balmoral, including her son and heir to the throne Charles, the Prince of Wales, and her grandsons, the Duke Of Cambridge, Prince William and the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry.

After her sad death on Thursday, September 8, we have officially started the 12 days of national mourning in the UK ahead of her state funeral – and this is likely to see TV and radio schedules changed, the Royals wearing black, and sporting events cancelled.
