Title: This is not a quiet kettle/boil
Review: This an attractive kettle, this kettle isn’t a quiet kettle/boil, it’s average sound & is not a distraction. It’s light, doesn’t over boil & comfortable to hold/fill, feels & looks quality, I would recommend this kettle. I would buy again.

The kettle itself has a 1.7 L capacity, with a water level gauge up the side. The lid is released by pressing the button on the handle, upon which the lid springs open. The inside of the kettle has a securely attached lime-scale filter by the spout. The element is the entire base of the kettle, giving maximum heating. The kettle sits on a base and is connected via a single central pin to allow rotation through 360 degrees. The switch is located under the handle of the kettle, easy to get at. It has a very positive click when operated and the whole switch lights up to let you know that the kettle is operating.The kettle boils relatively quickly and, importantly, quietly. the outside remains cool to the touch, and the water takes a long time to cool, suggesting that it is well insulated. It automatically switches off once the water is boiled, and has a boil dry protection. I have tried and it definitely won’t switch on unless there is water in the kettle.The water pours nicely, no spillages or stray streams from the spout with either large or small volumes of water.The general shape and look is attractive, the kettle looks well made and long lasting. It would look good on any kitchen work top.An excellent kettle, 5 stars.

Title: Nice kettle
Review: The kettle is quite loud when heating up but seems to boil very fast so that’s a bonus. I only gave it a 4 star because of the noise otherwise a good looking item for a modern kitchen.

Title: Pretty good!
Review: My last phillips kettle lasted 25 years. This seems to be a good replacement- light, fast,stylish and ergonomic to use. My only tiny criticism is it seems to keep boiling for too long before it switches off.

Title: Does the job but the outside isn’t made with care
Review: The kettle is fast at boiling and I like the fact that one cup of water can be boiled, if you choose. It looks nice too. My disappointment lies in the silver plastic on the handle. As you can see from the pictures, the silver is coming off above the on /off switch, so I imagine it will start coming off further up the handle too. The name of the kettle is also coming off (see other picture) . I know these things happen but we want our appliances to look good for longer than a month and a half – which is how long I’ve had this kettle. This is not a cheap kettle by any means and I would expect better quality from this maker. Disappointed customer here.

Title: Nice, effective, and moderately stylish; pours well
Review: Very pleased. Reasonably fast boil, not too noisy, and pours well. Easy to clean as well. And a reasonable price! Had to send back two Bosch kettles as very expensive and both failed (one dead on arrival!)
