Amazon Basics Water Filter Cartridge

– Water filter cartridge for use with any Amazon Basics water filter jug and BRITA MAXTRA/MAXTRA+/PerfectFit jug

– Effectively reduces chlorine, limescale, and other water impurities; great for hard water

– Built-in fine mesh traps and retains filtered particles; BPA-free

– Replace cartridge every 30 days or 100 L, depending on water hardness

– 1 cartridge can replace up to 100 1L plastic bottles and helps to reduce plastic waste

Great Taste for Food/Drink

– The water filter cartridge reduces chlorine, limescale and other impurities that can affect taste and odour. The result: clear, great-tasting water. Using a filter allows the purest flavours and aromas, whether making hot or cold beverages or cooking soups, stocks or other recipes.

Remove the exhausted cartridge.

Wash lid, jug and funnel in warm soapy water.

Immerse the new cartridge in cold water and shake it gently to remove any air bubbles.

Place the filter cartridge in the funnel and press firmly down.

The cartridge is filled with activated carbon made of coconut shells. Like all natural products, the size of the carbon particles might slightly vary. However, small carbon dust might be flushed out into the filtered water. These particles have no negative health effects. If ingested, they will leave the human body unchanged the natural way. To eliminate this purely aesthetic inconvenience, simply dispose of the remaining water in the container, if necessary.
