Title: Perfect alternative to non stick
Review: If you want to avoid consuming forever chemicals in your food then this is your best bet. Spray a light coating of oil and there should be no sticking issues. Perfect for fried eggs, steaks and everything in between. Very durable but is a little on the heavy side.

Title: Great performing cast iron flat griddle
Review: For the money, it is great value. I use mostly in the oven, but it works fine on the electric hob. I seasoned it first before use as I have with all my cast iron pans.The handle’s quite short, but that suits me for oven use.I would of preferred it to be a few centimetres wider, but it serves my purpose.The base is flat and it heats evenly. The small edge lips are useful for catching runaway oil or sauce.Very pleased with its performance.

Title: Great choice
Review: So happy with the pan. It is heavy strong and durable.I mostly use it for making dosa/pancakes and roast roti.It does both the jobs perfectly.It has come pre seasoned which was good.The only downside of the Cast iron pans is the maintainance on every wash.Its a good pan. I recommend to buy it.

Title: OVEN PROOF
Review: I know it sounds odd, but I like the fact that I can put the whole pan in the oven if I want, as well as using it on the stove top. I love cooking with cast iron, non stick and great flavour. This was such good value as well.

Title: not good for electric hob
Review: Its a good quality product. nice and heavy and just what I was looking for to try cooking some different varieties of indian bread. but the middle of the pan overheats immensely and disproportionate to the rest of the pan. so everything will be burnt in the middle. i have to assume this was made for gas hobs where the bulk of the heat is further away from the center. but haven’t tried in other types of hobs.

Title: Not suitable for induction, I think.
Review: This review, and rating, is based on it’s suitability with an induction hob. I’ve used cast iron pans before and I like them, but this one just didn’t seem to work. I don’t normally use cast iron pans any more because my wife won’t let me, and refuses to use them herself. I sneaked this one in.As the pictures show, the underside of the pan has a large embossed Amazon Basics logo. This raises most of the underside up from the heat surface. I SUSPECT that this had an adverse effect on the pans cooking abilities with induction.I also tested the heat distribution of the pan, by filling it with water and watching it boil. It didn’t seem to heat up across the whole base no matter what heat setting it was on. I compared it with the same test on a Tefal induction pan, which bubbled across the whole base of the pan.So all in all, this pan was sadly a fail for me. Uneven cooking across it’s surface, and it doesn’t seem to transfer heat across the cooking surface very well. Odd that cast iron should do that, I thought. Perhaps it just isn’t designed to be used on an induction hob, it’s probably fine on any other heat source.Cleaning was the same as any other cast iron pan (can be a bit of a awkward), no different problems were experienced (unless you forget and get hold of the handle without thinking. But I only did that once)

Review: I bought this 2 years back and still it looks fresh. I seasoned it at before my first use (Just in case). But it does the job, I would definitely recommend for the given price.

Review: Il prodotto è di ottima qualità. Pesante come deve essere una pentola in vera ghisa. Ottima anche in forno e sul barbecue per grigliare le verdure. Per carni delicate, tipo pollo, mettere un po’ di sale fino sul fondo prima di poggiare la carne, eviterà alla carne di attaccarsi. Come tutte le pentole in ghisa non va lavata con sgrassatori ma con acqua calda.

Review: Wicked price for a fantastic cast iron pan. It’s not as heavy or as thick as other cast iron fry pans and I thought it might get too hot but I was happy to find that it was the perfect fit for campfire pancakes. I’ll be getting another for our camper and removing the thicker ones I have.
