Review: Cuts well, but you will need to have a sharpener and use it regularly. (It was fairly dull when I got it.) Grip is good and cleans well in dishwasher. Great surface area for picking up things you’ve cut and carrying them to pan, bowl, etc. I recommend, but only if you can sharpen regularly!

Review: My previous everyday cleaver had a wooden handle and over the years it had became loose and eventually too dangerous to use hence my purchase.Other half refused to enter the kitchen in case the blade flew off when I chopped stir fry v!I opted for this one with an all in one handle and am very pleased with my choice.It is lightweight enough to use to quickly chop vegetables, raw chicken and fruit but with enough weight to tackle harder items like swede and spuds.I have a heavier cleaver that I would use to chop through harder items like whole chickens but for everyday food prep this works like a dream.Super sharp and comfortable in the hand, easy to clean with no nooks or crannies to harbour debris and germs. Haven’t tried sharpening it yet as the blade is still razor sharp but it looks like the edge is the same as on my old one so have no doubt that sharpening with a steel will be easy.Delivery was slow, took the seller 3 days to dispatch, then got a message to say it was delayed and then the courier apparently couldn’t find my address so TEN days from payment to receipt, however, well worth the wait.Hope this review helps
