Review: The picture was very clear though slightly cold/blue. Fan was quiet enough and not an issue. Better quality than most in this price range (I tried 8 projectors). However the audio jack had a high noise level present on it. Bluetooth was okay though

Review: I’m really happy with this projector! It’s great for movie nights and get-togethers. It works great in complete darkness. The picture quality isn’t as good as I would have liked but this could be because I’ve not used it with a screen. The audio quality isn’t the best, but that wasn’t a big deal for me as I intend to use it with Bluetooth speakers/headphones.I’m glad that it came with a remote, as navigating the settings using the buttons on the projector can be fiddly and quite annoying to do in complete darkness. I found the step-by-step instructions on how to connect different devices especially helpful. Connecting my laptop to the projector using the HDMI cable and connecting my phone through Bluetooth was easy. For the price, this is a good projector, and I would recommend it.

Review: TLDR: AKIYO’s 1080p and picture in normal and bright scenes was awesome for the low cost. I’ll be using this for impromptu movie nights on the bedroom wall (100in screen size from 10ft).Set this up in my bedroom for impromptu movie nights with my partner and/or my children. At about 10 feet this projector will put up an approximately 100 inch screen (diagonal) at 1080p resolution. I did not use the onboard speaker as I connected to a bluetooth speaker using AUX cable, which showed no latency with the video.I have a Bomaker 2021 that I used prior to this and the diff between the AKIYO’s 1080p resolution (720p Bomaker) was immediately noticeable. Although the Bomaker had better contrast in the dark scenes and was a brighter overall projector, I still preferred the AKIYO’s overall experience.Pros:- 1080p resolution is MUCH better to the eye than comparable 720p or 480p projectors. Do not go with anything lower than 1080p in 2022.- Bright scenes look great (watched Frozen so far)- Aux output works well- Very simple and easy to use interface- Remote is useful (albeit cheap feeling)Cons:- Very low contrast, especially in the dark areas of the screen. Dark colours are absolutely crushed to black, so you lose contrast in dark shirts, dark scenes at night, etc. But, for the price, this is nitpicky.- There is a slight hum from the fan on the projector, but it gets drowned out by movie audio. Again, for the price this is nitpicky.- Not as bright as slightly more expensive budget projectors. In a fairly dark room though, it’s fine.

Review: It can be a bit hard at times to get it squared on the screen and in focus, because if it isn’t exactly right you end up with an irregular shape like a trapezoid or parallelogram, but once you get it lined up, it is a great little projector. I have gotten a lot of use out at the lake. My only beef with it is sound. The projector sound is not good (and it is a tad noisy) and you can’t pair multiple headphones to it, so it isn’t very good for group viewing if you are somewhere using a speaker isn’t practical, like a campsite where you don’t want to disturb your neighbours. Customer service from the company was exceptional.

Review: Llevo un par de meses usándolo casi diario, hasta el momento no ha tenido ninguna falla, yo le compré un tripié y ahí lo tengo, para hacerlo inteligente le conecte un Amazon fire Stick TV y funcionan de maravilla en conjunto, es como una smart tv, en la noche se ve muy bien sobre todo en pared blanca pero si recomiendo comprarle una pantalla para proyector aunque sea de las de tela para aprovechar al máximo. De día también lo uso solo cierro la ventana y no se oscurece por completo pero aún así se ve bien, si tiene buena calidad en relación al precio que tiene. Volvería a comprar

Review: Great mini-projector — excellent size and capabilities. Doesn’t need any extras (unless of course you want a screen, but it also works very well on walls!). It produces a really nice quality resolution given the 1080pixels.When it was hooked up to my PC, it did an excellent job (would work great for family night, for jackbox, etc).My only complaint was that I also hoped to stream from my phone (a recent model Samsung) — and it would do that for some things (YouTube not in landscape mode, for example), but not well for streaming services, where any time I tried to start the movie, I could only see the controls and not the video itself. The same thing happened when I tried YouTube on landscape. There’s something about the interface that doesn’t like full screen from a phone.In short: great accessories and really excellent with computer connection. Love that all accessories are included. However, the play with phones is not recommended. (For me, not a disaster, but definitely worth docking by one star.)
