Title: Shoddy low quality screws strip before tightening
Review: Pathetically low quality soft screws – the heads stripped before the screws were suitably tightened. It is incredibly stupid that manufacturers perpetually do this.In the end I had to buy concrete bolts – with a hexagonal head – instead of the flimsy torx head concrete screws; this meant I could screw them in without stripping the head. Unfortunately the socket wrench would not fit in the hole for the bolt, so I had to buy additional washers to lift the bolt head up slightly to protrude enough to use the socket head.Slightly overpriced, especially given the additional cost I have incurred by replacement bolts.

Review: Il prodotto in sé è valido e di qualità , in quanto i materiali sembrano robusti e idonei allo scopo: io l’ho acquistato per usarlo come gancio di protezione per una ebike.Tuttavia, le istruzioni di montaggio, reperibili sul sito di ABUS, sono insufficienti e non mi hanno consentito di prendere coscienza di come andava fatto il montaggio e di cosa mi sarebbe servito prima di ricevere e prendere possesso del prodotto stesso.Riassumo qui quello che ho scoperto, capito e come ho risolto una volta ricevuto il WBA60.Allora, le due viti fornite nella confezione sono delle (ottime) Fischer UltraCut FBS II 8 80 a testa svasata per l’incastro della sfera metallica antieffrazione, anch’essa fornita nella confezione. Queste viti sono adatte “solo” all’uso nel calcestruzzo e non richiedono un tassello.Il che, però, vuol dire che se il muro destinato all’installazione è fatto di mattoni forati, non vanno bene. Certo, avrei potuto montare il gancio a pavimento, ma non mi andava di forare il solaio in quanto non ho alcuna informazione su cosa ci sia sotto il pavimento del garage condominiale. Inoltre, ritengo che il montaggio a muro del gancio sia molto più pratico, in quanto che ne agevola l’accessibilità durante l’uso quotidiano.Ho dovuto quindi dotarmi di un sistema di fissaggio differente. Allo scopo di avere qualche garanzia in termini di tenuta contro eventuali tentativi di strappo, la scelta è ricaduta sul Fischer Fis V Zero, un ancorante chimico. Tale ancorante necessità di tasselli a rete nel caso, come il mio, il supporto di installazione siano i mattoni forati. Io ho scelto i tasselli a rete sempre della Fischer 12×85. Fischer prevede che per questo tipo di applicazioni siano usate delle aste filettate. A tal proposito le viti FBS II non vanno bene sia perché lo spessore è eccessivo, sia perché la filettatura è differente dal tipo di quelle delle aste filettate “certificate”. Quindi, anche forzando l’utilizzo delle viti FBS II nel tassello a rete, magari comprando un tassello più largo, la tenuta dell’ancorante chimico non sarebbe stata certa. Ho quindi comprato delle viti a testa esagonale m8 di circa 8 cm in acciaio zincato, che hanno una filettatura identica a quella delle aste filettate di cui sopra. Ho quindi provveduto a limarne gli spigoli con una smerigliatrice angolare. Infine, in fase di fissaggio, ho riempito i fori d’invito del gancio e coperto la testa delle viti con la resina, per ridurre ulteriormente la possibilità che tentativi maldrestri di smontaggio possano andare a buon fine.Fortunatamente avevo già la smerigliatrice angolare e un disco per l’acciaio. Tuttavia, ho dovuto sostenere un costo per il materiale aggiuntivo di circa €20 e affrontare un montaggio molto più articolato di quello promesso da Abus.

Review: Die Montage des Bodenankers ist sehr einfach und schnell. Macht einen sehr stabilen Eindruck. Ob der Preis so hoch sein muss, ist die Frage. Aber alle Teile waren dabei, die man für die Fixierung braucht. Das fand ich sehr gut.
