Title: Won’t charge until button is pressed. Buit in cable is slow charge. Use own cable for fast charge.
Review:  Although this power bank has a high capacity and is capable of fast charging devices up to a very decent 22.5W rate, it cripples itself by not charging any device until the side button is pressed. This is frustrating as most power banks will charge as soon as devices are plugged in. This one doesn’t and so it is easy to forget to press the switch when plugging in devices to charge.It is also worth noting, that built in USB-C is a slow charging cable. As shown in my video, I have to use my own fast charging USB-C cable (40W or higher is best for most modern devices) to achieve fast charging speeds. But the good news it does do fast charging and there is a green symbol on the display to indicate the fast charging.

Review: Arrived nicely retail-packaged.The distinctive orange band around the charger makes it stand out – literally and metaphorically – from other power banks and also makes it really easy to spot in the house, car etc.I was most intrigued about the fact that this has built-in charging leads, something that most other power banks on the market do not have. The inexplicable downside of this however is that they are NOT fast charging leads, providing only what appears to be a trickle charge in use. Connect a suitable high capacity cable however and this functions as well as others on the market. A little green icon pops up in the display to let you know that fast-charging is in operation.Capable of charging both my iPhone 15 Pro Max and my wife’s iPhone 8 – all on the one charge. Whilst I have gone out with it in my pocket, I would not go so far as to describe it as ‘pocket-sized’ – it’s a hefty brick, heavier than your smartphone for sure – but therein lies its capacity, which is great to have.Would be nice if it was available in different colour trims as well as orange – it’s a USP and should be exploited further by the manufacturer.Just docking one star for the in-built cables not being the fast-charging type but still a very nice, very useful power bank.Recommended.
