Title: Works well for such a low cost tablet
Review: Works perfectly as a controller for my TT120 model railway (a work in progress). The Hornby HM7000 is apparently rather fussy as to the tablets it will currently work with. I didn’t want the expense of an Apple iPad for just running my model railway, so I took a chance on this and it has paid off. It would probably be fine as an everyday simple tablet as well.

Title: Slow slow slow slow
Review: Bought as a christmas present for an 8 and 5 year old. These tablets are absolute rubbish. They are worde than slow to load games. They freeze when loading. The sensitivity of the screen is shambolic. When trying to cross off adverts it constantly takes you to the playstore. The saying buy cheap buy twice is definitely 1 that comes to mind.Plays Disney and Netflix with no problems. So if this is all is needed then it’s fine.

Title: Keyboard issues doesn’t seem to put in the actual word you want
Review: Nice tablet the problem I have with it is the keyboard it just doesn’t seem to put in what you type it brings up numbers or other letters it’s aggravating repeatedly putting in e when you get 3 for example it’s easy to setup nice screen just annoying trying to type in what you want and you have to repeatedly put the actual word you want

Title: No haptic feedback, frustrating and forces pattern instead of facial recognition
Review: A good tablet but ruined by the following:Firstly no haptic feedback is available, which is pretty pathetic in this day and age. Secondly, the Screen Unlock always defaults to ‘Pattern’ rather than use correctly enrolled ‘Facial Recognition’ (The instructions in the manual are incorrect).Both these factors are super annoying and fail a good value tablet.Thirdly, whilst I thought Android 14 would be easier and more sensible than Android 13, as usual with Google, it is actually far worse and has a great deal of additional ‘hand holding’, all of which will likely want to be turned off by most grown-ups…but it is not easy to do so.Useful settings are really hard to find and everything else is designed to make it extremely difficult to turn off so-called ‘features’, which are actually just marketing funnels for Google.Apart from that, the actual tablet is ok and has a good screen, reasonable power etc, is well built and, as a tablet, good value.The whole thing though is let down by the painful operating system, lack of touch (haptic) feedback and that ridiculously frustrating locking system…which I have turned off entirely.All in all, a good value, adequate tablet…but be prepared for frustration by the bucket load.
