Title: A bit heavier than expected but convenient as a travel stand
Review: I guess the weight is needed to keep it stable but it does pack up neatly in a nice cube that I can throw in a suitcase and then have it by my bedside table whilst on vacation. It also has a pass-through port, so I can plug my apple watch charger there and power phone, airpods and watch all from a single wall plug or even battery pack.

Review:  This is the 2nd or 3rd of UGREEN’s new charging solutions range I have had and I’m really liking the design and build quality.This is a compact, relatively weighty, yet portable 2-in-1 charging solution that comes supplied with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable.The finish is quite premium looking and the hinge mechanism is solidly made, although a little stiff to initially open. Angling the phone charging part is easy enough and the magnetic is strong enough to hold the largest of phones.There is a slight issue with the compact Airpods area though. If you have some sort of case on the charging case, then you may find that you will need to remove the original charging case from that in order to charge due to the limited space.Although this charger is stated as being for the iPhone, it is basically a QI charger and will support the charging any Ai enabled devices.When I tested the phone charging performance, with my phone’s battery around 5%, it was charging at around 1.7A. I take anything equal to or above 2.4A to be fast charging. At the same time the charger was drawing in about 12V/14W.The specs says that at 5V & 9V it will charge my phone at up to 3A. Only at 12V does that level drop. My phone will always charge at 5V or 9V, not 12V. I did remove the MagSafe case to see if that made a difference and it didn’t. Also, it was plugged into a 100W GaN Fast Charger.The results have left me slightly perplexed as to the charging performance. Plugging the cable directly into the phone and it’s charging at just under 4A.One thing I wasn’t able to find any information on was the conversion factor. This is how much energy is lost in the wireless charging process. This can be between 10% – 40%, with the norm being around 25%.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.
