Title: It’s grown on me. There were some fiddly elements in getting it to work properly though.
Review: My much loved Xiaomi Note 8T was no longer charging so I needed a new phone quickly. This offering from Doogee was keenly priced and sounded good on paper. whilst it quickly became obvious that this is a more basic phone than it’s 4 year old predecessor I’ve stuck with it, and got most of the annoying little kinks sorted out. The first issue I encountered during set up was the lack of British English available from the settings, I went with US English to get it going. After enduring an American voice and the lack of £ sign for several weeks I knew I had to find a solution. Fortunately returning to language settings revealed the required UK language. The other major issue I encountered was the impossibility of connecting the phone to my PC to transfer photos, etc. You could connect it and reconnect it as many times as you like but it just wouldn’t allow data to be transfered. After a bit of searching I found a very helpful gentleman from India had added a video to Youtube explaining how to set up debugging and get a phone to connect properly, another problem solved. Compared to my old phone it is a little sluggish doing some things, eg screen rotation, however as my phone needs are fairly basic I’m happy to keep going with it. The N50 looks much like any other smart phone these days, personally I rather like the colourful plastic back, the camera is ok for daylight use and it has lots of storage space. For the price it is a good deal, though for me a 4* phone rather than top marks.

Review: This is the 4th Doogee phone I have purchased and so far have never had an issue with any of them. Of course you can’t compare them to a top of the range Samsung, but for my usage I don’t need to pay 100’s of pounds for a phone. Doogee phones are reliable, free from a lot of bloatware you get on other devices and need little or no set up to get started. If like me, you don’t want to spend a fortune on a smart phone, you won’t get much better for the price than a Doogee

Review: From the photos in the ad, I thought this stand would be of lower quality. I was mistaken! This stand is of very nice quality.The device has a nice base weight that provides a stable platform for my iPhone, iPad 10.9 and iPad 12.9 inch devices, allowing for a wide range of tilts and rotations, landscape or portrait device orientations, with buttery-smooth, adjustable and nicely-tensioned tilt angles from nearly flat on the desktop (or flat elevated) to nicely elevated for viewing and/or drawing or interacting with the device. Rotation is also very smooth with satisfying clicking detents that holds the rotational position where you set it. I like this stand so much I think I will purchase a couple more to have one at every location where I use my tablets/phone.Some thought was definitely put into engineering this stand. One example is how they were sure to leave a gap in the bottom device ledge, allowing you to use your USB cable with your device while it is mounted on the stand. Smart!Thick, high-grade silicone pads in all the right places prevent your device from getting scratched!Another great feature is that it folds up flat and is small enough to throw into a small purse, laptop/tablet folio/briefcase, or even in a cargo pocket, if that’s how you roll.Great product! Recommend!
