Review: I used it once for an interview. Now I can’t get it to work at all. How do I get my money back?

Review: This is an easy to use, lightweight digital recorder that you can fit into your shirt pocket. The screen is fairly large and easy to see and it works like any other digital recorder so it’s easy to use. The USB connection that slides out of the recorder is a plus and makes it easy to transfer the recordings onto your computer. Great buy!

Review: I bought the WS-700M.for use with Dragon NaturallySpeaking, version 10. I have been using different versions of the Dragon software for years, but find that there are still many errors despite my enunciation and training. I decided I would like to use the transcription feature to see if that would reduce errors and tried the recorder in my cell phone, but the quality was much too low for transcription. By using this recorder in D. N. S. mode and a headset, the quality is high enough for transcription. It does not eliminate all user-dragon errors and it still requires that you speak to the recorder like you would dictate to computer. The silver lining is that now I have recorded what I wanted to say when Dragon does make an error, which is still frequently. Then, I can listen to what I had recorded and dictate simultaneously where the lines have been scrambled by the Dragon software. This method is far from perfect, but that it’s certainly not the fault of the recorder. The recorder is very light weight and once the desired settings are selected, it is easy to use.the built-in microphone works very well, but for transcription using a headset works a lot better. The only CON for this product is that it is gentle and if you accidentally press a little on the screen it will show two black/distortion lines(it needs protection if throw in a bag). Luckily, the lines have always faded away.

Review: Well, i’ve looked a lot before i’ve choose this one.And i’ve choose great.I have used before Sony ICD-MX20 that cost twice, and built much better, but that’s it. The Sony recording quality was hurible. It was havy, expensive, and eat my batteries in about 30 minutes of recordig. Its recording file was somthing that you can listen to on your Pc just with Sony software! The WS-700W is like from out of space, comparing to my ealy Sony. The recording quality is GREAT.Sensitivity is SUPERB, especially when recording at MP3 256 Kbps. But i’m using the 128 kbps, and it’s also very very good!It has also a PCM file recording (uncompresed WAV), gives a top quality, but it will eat your memory in a scaring speed. It comes with internal 4GB, and a MicroSD expending slot. It’s very light, and very thin in mesures. Not too high also. The menu is very clear to use, and copying to Pc is also very easy, and not software is needed. Just drag and drop. The buit in popup USB connector is great!Battery life (NIMH included!) seems to be also great, and chargingtime (using USB!), is also very fast- about two hours. The Cons:The built quality is not very high. It’s very flimsy. When you want to charge it, there is a question on the screen that you musthit “OK” to start charging. No MP3 320 kbps recording (but 256 kbps is also great momory consumer).Recording using Olympus ME-15 Microphone gives less qulity then direct recording.Just put your recorder on your body iwth some wide sellotape, or in you front jeans.Very short USB cable. No case!Very cheap packaging.

Review: I just ordered this Olympus VN-8100PC digital voice recorder a few days ago and so far it has worked pretty good. I had an older digital voice recorder, but it didn’t have a USB port, so I couldn’t transfer files to my PC which is what I wanted, so I bought this. I’ve made several recordings and transferred them to my PC and they sound good, all you do is plug it into a USB port on your computer and then you can access this device just like a USB thumb drive.I decided to go with this one because the olderÂ
