Title: Misleading ingredients
Review: This dark spot-correcting serum arrived well-packaged and as described. The bottles I received look just like the photos advertised.I received this as part of the Vine program on Amazon to try this product out and give my honest opinion on the product. However, my main issue with this product is the extremely misleading ingredients on the packaging. It claims to have “water, glycerin, niacinamide, arbutic, hyaluronic acid, tranexamic acid” and that’s it.That’s the full ingredients? But this cannot be the case as if the product contains water it will NEED a preservative to keep the product stable. This is a safety and legal requirement to prevent the product from getting mouldy or causing skin infections. Furthermore, the product is red in colour and none of the ingredients listed would be responsible for this, which begs the question: what’s making the serum this colour? Is it a natural colourant or a synthetic one?There are so many questions left to ask which made me completely avoid this product.Disappointing and I would definitely look into more reputable brand.

Review: I have dry mid-40’s skin with a few dark spots I’d like to address. I thought I’d give this a whirl to see how it does but it felt really sticky and never quite sunk in all the way, and it was a bit drying for my sensitive skin. It overall feels a bit cheap with the packaging and the product too, so I don’t think I’ll be reaching for this one.

Review: This is a review of ‘2pcs Dark Spot Correcting Serum, 10% Niacinamide+ 4% Tranexamic Acid, for Acne Scars, Post-Acne Marks, Hyperpigmentation and Even Skin Tone, Fragrance-Free’.This serum is designed to remove dark marks due to the niacinamide and tranexamic acid. The product comes in two plastic bottles which felt a bit cheap compared to the products I normally go for. Despite this, the dropper works fine and I enjoyed the product. The product doesn’t sting the skin nor is it harsh like some chemical exfoliants. it is gentle but still works to remove dark spots over time. I like that this is something I can use almost every day without every having any skin irritation. It seems the ingredients are well thought out and science-based. I like that it contains no fragrance as this can be irritating to the skin. overall i think this is a very good product if you have some post acne scars to get rid of.
