Review: I bought this knife holder for my new bread knife which is very long and sharp and a bit dangerous loose in the draw with all the others. As all my knives are of different makes a knife block wasn’t suitable so I was really pleased that someone had invented a magnetic holder like this.The holder is very sturdy and doesn’t tip or move when you remove a knife. The magnet is strong but not so strong you can’t remove the knife. It looks really stylish in the kitchen and has been admired by many of my visitors.The only reason I have given it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it has a small mark on the front. I’ve noticed other reviewers say the same thing so it’s not a one off problem. This could easily have been avoided by angling the edge the other way and using the back as the front, a simple enough thing to do during manufacture which wouldn’t have wasted any wood. This is a quality product which is being let down by its quality control department.
