Title: Excellent projector with great quality image
Review:  This is well made; a good quality unit, with a good finish to it. It feels quality and not a cheap item.It’s very easy to set up.Inputs are labelled clearly and the user menu is clearly laid out and easy to navigate with the simple remote control.Image quality is excellent and better than expected for a projector of this price point. Blacks are very good and colours are vibrant.There are good options to tweak the image to your liking, including a zoom function which helps when placing the projector and helps you still get the biggest image if that’s what you’re after.Sound quality is adequate and reasonable for the cost of the unit. I would assume most people will be using some kind of home cinema surround sound system with this though, so the sound ilquality isnt why you buy this imo.It’s definitely a great projector, and decent value for under £100

Title: For the office it’s great
Review:  Ideally suited to office or educational environment where the deadly power point needs to by that bit more epic. Out of the box the projector is very easy to set up. Simply find yourself a blank wall or screen, power it up adjust the angles and focus and off you go. Connect via a range of ports or link via to cast from your device. The projector has a good level of brightness the video shown is with a light curtain and full sunlight. Sound wise the speaker is also very capable and enough to fill the room. I wouldn’t however recommend it as a home projector – firstly the cooling fan is a little loud so unless you’re a good distance away and using a secondary sound source you’ll find it a bit distracting. Secondly due to a propriety coding / rights issue you can’t stream Netflix, Disney or Amazon from your device to the projector. If you work within its limitations then it’s a good projector at a very reasonable price mark.

Title: This is fab!
Review:  This is super straightforward to set up especially if you haven’t used one before. The menu is virtually the same as most TVs, the instructions were easy to read and I gave the projector a test run using a USB with films pre loaded and connected an external speaker via the aux port which you can see in the video.Really impressed with the quality of both the imaging and the audio.Great for £90!Just has a short power cable so will have to use an extension cord.

Title: Akiyo 08 projector
Review: Projector looks good and the build quality is nice . But the advertised brightness doesn’t seem to much up to its specification. Lens is hard to focus and text seems blurred in places , picture quality is just about exceptable but colours look washed out , regardless if you change settings in menu . And the fan noise is extremely noticeable and would destract you from watching what is being projected .

Title: great projector
Review: this works great and it is easy to set up. it doesn’t come with a portable screen so we tried it against a wall (where we’ve got a few family photos so not posting it on here,, sorry) but the quality of the image even on a wall is fantastic for what it is. you can connect it to any phone, laptop etc or even external hard drives which gives you lots of possibilities. the sound is quite good as well considering it is a small product but it works great for what I need it. highly recommended

Title: Ok projector
Review: As an entry level projector, this isn’t bad.Set up is relatively simple, though I would suggest you do this using the remote control (needs batteries, not supplied) as it’s simpler and more intuitive than the buttons on the main unit.+ives;*Once focussed, the picture quality is surprisingly good and exceeded my expectations.*Ability to tweak picture contrast/colour*Menu system fairly simple to understand and use after 5 minutes of familiarisation. However, use the remote control to navigate as this is easier.*Remote control and hdmi cable included*Ability to mirror cast (but for the well known movie streaming service, this is not possible – I had to use a cable connection)-ives;*Extremely noisy fan – this detracted from the viewing pleasure.*Power cable is extremely short (c.1m) so you’ll need to use an extension cable*Bluetooth is unidirectional – from the Projector to external speakers for exampleNot a negative of the projector, but it’s worth mentioning that many streaming/satellite subscription services do not allow casting of their broadcasts.My main issue with this projector is its noisy fan. It doesn’t make movie watching a pleasurable experience. If watching something with quiet scenes, then you’ll need to be seated a fair distance from the projector and turn up the volume to a moderately high level (35 plus) or connect it external speakers placed nearer to you than the unit. If purchasing for movies, this could be a deal breaker. If it’s for gaming, casting loud sport (football/rugby – though note inability to stream from many providers) or showing material where sound is not a priority (eg slides, photos) then the noise may be tolerable. My recommendation of the projector is based on intended use.

Review:  This Akiyo projector is awesome; it is so easy to use, the picture is bright, vivid, and clear, the sound is good including the volume, and you can adjust the volume. It is very easy to connect to media that you want to use, even with just the buttons on the top of the projector, and definitely with the remote. You can watch videos (which is what most people will want to do), project photos, or play music.This Akiyo led projector comes with the projector, a cover over the camera lens to protect it, a remote (2 AAA batteries not included), the cord to plug it into an outlet (which is short; you may need a power bar or extension cord), an HDMI cable and an audio cable, and a short instruction booklet.I was delighted that this projector was super easy to use. The projector has a short screw kickstand that you can unscrew to change the height or angle of the projector, and on the projector itself there are a lot of buttons to control what happens (which is a good thing in case you lose the remote). Using the buttons on the projector itself you can go up and down, left and right, and there’s an okay button, a play/pause button, source settings, and power button. The remote has more options but you can get to most things through the buttons on the projector, which I love.The projector also has a focus and keystone knob that you can adjust until the picture looks clear. And of course it helps to pull the projector back as far as you need it to so that the video comes into better focus, and you can make it larger. It may not get as large as some people would like, but I found it enough for me.I don’t have white walls, furniture, or curtains, so to test it out of the box I projected a video against my turquoise couch and it worked beautifully. I could see the video really clearly and vividly even against the turquoise background, and the sound was good.I also appreciated that there are multiple ways to access a video through this projector. You can plug in an external hard drive or a pen drive through the USB connection on the back, or you can connect a PC, laptop, tablet, iPhone or iPad, or Android device, but for some of those you may need a digital AV adapter or a USBc to HDMI adapter unless your device has a HDMI outlet. You can even cast from your cell phone, Android or Apple, though I did not test that out. You can even connect to Roku, Hulu, YouTube, etc. using a TV stick. I used an external hard drive and connected it via USB to the projector, and it played the video perfectly.Through the remote or the buttons on the projector, you use the menu system that is included in the projector. It is very simple and easy to use. First you select the language you want, then how you are going to access your media such as through USB drive which they call media, or HDMI, IRS cast or iOS cable, and then what kind of media you want to select such as movies. In my case, in using an USB external hard drive, I simply had to navigate through the folders until I got to the video I wanted, which was a relatively fast and simple process, and then just press play.The sound and volume is good and clear with the built in speaker, and you can increase or decrease the volume. You can hear the fan, but the volume of the movie makes the fan noise almost disappear. You can also connect to other speakers using bluetooth if you want more of a surround sound or more volume.The videos are so vivid and bright, the projector is so easy to use, so this is an incredible price point for a projector that works so well, at this time only $90 Canadian.I love how easy this projector is to use, how clear the image is, and how clear the sound is. I love that you can adjust the volume, that there are multiple ways to connect your videos to the projector including an external drive or even your laptop, and that there are buttons that control most everything you need on the projector itself, as well as the remote which gives you more control. This is so easy to use right out of the box and it is really well designed.

Review: Teníamos un proyector de 4.800 lúmenes y creíamos que era suficiente hasta que compramos este espectacular proyector. Con este no tenenos que apagar todas las luces del local, tenemos el proyector a 5 metros de la pantalla y no pierde calidad alguna, la definición es perfecta, colores vividos y el ventilador no hace ruido. Review: This smart LED projector is very well built with amazing picture quality, crisp and clear. Very easy to use and various ways to connect media player to the projector. I have been using it now for over two months and it has been our favourite way to watch our movies. The only issue we had is that the fan is a bit loud especially when using it indoors or small room but the speakers are quite loud and can easily overcome the fan noise. Other than that it is an amazing projector with loads of features and reasonable price. Recommended.
