Review: I have been cooking rice for years and I’m good at it. I always cook it on my gas hob though in a pan. I ordered this microwave one to see how it compares.This microwave rice cooker comes with the main pot, strainer, vegetable tray, lid and rice spoon.It seems to be well-made and is easy to wash. It is also dishwasher safe.Unfortunately it doesn’t come with any instructions. It gives a brief overview on the box in photos but it is for a different model and not this model that comes with the red veg tray.It doesn’t tell you how much water to rice ratio you should use. Nothing about how long to cook rice for. Nothing about how to cook the different types of rice. Nothing about what kind of rice it is not suitable for.There is nothing about what wattage of microwave is suitable to use. No warning information is provided. You could be at danger of warping the cooker. It is plastic.There are some basic instructions on the listing and the video on the listing about wattage and timing and ratio. You should not have to look on the Amazon listing to see how to use it. If you bought it for someone as a gift, you wouldn’t want to tell them to look on the Amazon listing to see how to use it. What if you bought this for someone that didn’t know how to cook rice?! It would be useless for them as they wouldn’t know where to start.I looked at the same product that other sellers are selling and they provide information on their Amazon listing for different types of rice. This seller hasn’t though.This rice cooker also looks similar to the Joseph Joseph microwave rice cooker. They include instructions. Sistema also include instructions for their microwave rice cooker too.There should also be instructions on how to use the veg tray. There’s nothing.I think that the lack of instructions really lets this rice cooker down. I would have given it 5 stars otherwise but I can only give it 2 stars due to the lack of instructions. ðŸš
