Review: Good for someone in a small space who only irons occasionally. The iron holder feature is nice but pretty flimsy. I keep it on the floor in a closet and even there the iron sometimes falls out. Ironing your sheets would be a pain, but it works fine for smaller items or the occasional sewing project.

Review: At first, I was like the lady who did a review that said the board was no good because it had no middle support. It actually has a sliding mechanism on the underneath side to strengthen the middle and keep it from bending in. There are instructions for that on the included paper.Then I used the enclosed hardware to mount the unit onto the wall. The cheaper sheet rock anchors gave way and I had to use my own anchors. So it took me 2 installs.I did not previously measure the width or the weight of my iron. I have a Pur Steam 1700. The slot on this unit did not seem to fit my iron or hold the weight of it. I finally discovered that the iron holder was flexible and could bend to the depth of my iron. The only thing is, it did not support the iron very well and made it sit at an angle while the holder fanned out. I decided that I could maybe place a small bungee cord across the top front of the iron and anchor it on each side. Then my thinking went to I could maybe use the iron cord to help support the iron. You can refer to my attached picture to see how I did it. I tucked the cord at the top behind the legs of the board.With that said, I am mostly satisfied with this unit. It will take extra time to wind and unwind the cord; however, I wanted a smaller tabletop board.
