Review: I’d sleep with it if I could. Operates very well but it does bite. Easy to operate and holds on well.

Review: La llave llego bien, sin embargo le faltaba aceite y se atascaba para abrir o cerrar, con un poco de aceite quedo como nueva.

Review: As soon as you open the box, you know that this tool is of high quality. I was able to test it on various items, shower heads, etc.. Once it does grip, it does not let go. It has a unique design that you will lear to appreciate quickly. I would buy it again in an instant.

Review: OK…this is probably not for the casual do-it-yourselfer. Standard Ridgid classic style pipe wrenches will last a DIYer a lifetime and do most jobs. What attracted me to this wrench was the Knipex name (synonymous with high quality) and the quick adjustment. As a plumber, when working with threaded metal pipe, it’s quite common to have to frequently readjust a wrench from one pipe size to another, and from pipe size to fitting size. We do this over and over with a pipe wrench, again and again and again, as we progress along a metal pipe system. This quick adjustment feature really makes the work go a LOT quicker. It works just like a quick-adjust channellock (i.e. “adjustable pliers”). You push in the button, you open the wrench all the way, you put the mouth over the pipe, you slide it closed until both sets of jaws hit the pipe, you release the button.Don’t worry. UNLIKE typical channellocks, these babies grip the pipe hard, just like you expect a high-quality pipe wrench to do.Adjusting classic pipe wrench: you turn the knurl, and turn the knurl, and turn the knurl. Then you see if it fits the pipe or fitting. Since it almost always doesn’t on the first try, you turn the knurl again. And sometimes it’s quote close enough and you adjust a third time.PROS:- easy, quick adjustment, big time saver- knipex quality (I expect this to last at least one lifetime)- coated handles slightly more comfortable and grippy than those on a typical pipe wrench- narrow head, you can get this into some tight spaces and/or onto narrow nuts – like under a sink – that a broad classic style pipe wrench head won’t fit into or ontoCONS- two-hand operation needed to adjust (but to be honest, most people use two hands when adjusting a classic style pipe wrench, too)- unlike the classic pipe wrench, which, once sized, can be used and moved during operating without having to grip the handle to use (you just have to PUSH in the desired direction), this quick-adjusting pipe wrench typically needs to be gripped (squeezing the grips together) to get the head clamped onto the pipe correctly, and THEN (if you desire) you can push one-handed on the upper grip to turn the wrench, OR you can continue pressing both grips together (just as you would with channellocks) to turn the wrench. This might seem like a slight matter, but often when using two pipe wrenches the only-have-to-pull or only-have-to-push feature of the classic pipe wrench is VERY helpful. In fact: the two-hand operation thing makes me tend to always use these with a classic style pipe wrench. The classic goes on first the pipe or fitting first. Then I use two hands to adjust the knipex, then grasp both grips of the knipex with one hand while pushing or pulling the classic pipe wrench with the other hand.

Review: These are hard to get adjusted and on the pipe but once it is they don’t slip
