Review: I know you’ve never heard of Ecarke, and neither have I. Upon opening this product I was not overwhelmed with confidence. It looks very generic and unimpressive.The kit has everything you need for most tasks, and clearly this is aimed at the DIY community, it is not a professional tool. It is an all-in-one home solution.Handling is fine, the weight feels good and there are no real ergonomic problems.In operation it is quite weak; you can hear the motor struggling when full force is applied. Heating happens within a minute, and when cutting breeze blocks with a normal amount of pressure it overheats and cuts out after about 30 minutes of work. I have experienced this before with cheap grinders, but never with pro-level kit.The problem is that this is priced up near professional products. You could definitely not do a days hard work with this tool, it’s not going to last. For normal DIY tasks of ten minutes or so then it’s perfectly fine and will do the job, but then so will products costing a lot less.So the lack of power and overheating make this a home-only, light-use product. I would not pay more than £50 for this kit, and I expect the price will drop to reflect that.
