Coffee Maker Moka
Designed by architect David Chipperfield, “Moka” is a tribute to a timeless icon of Italian gastronomic culture: the espresso coffee maker. The ideal tool for a small but intense everyday ritual.
Functionality
David Chipperfield’s “Moka” is an artistic tribute to the espresso maker invented by Alfonso Bialetti.
Design
Chipperfield wanted to create an object that was popular and simple, just like the original created at the beginning of the last century. An eleven-sided volume, for a shape that is both familiar and innovative.
Moka A coffee maker with a familiar and innovative shape
Moka is made of aluminium, with a heat-insulating polyamide handle and knob. Its original design also introduces a number of functional improvements, such as the flat lid, which offers the option of placing cups on it to warm them while brewing coffee, and the knob, which allows the lid to be lifted with one hand. Suitable for use on all hobs, it is available in three sizes. Ideal for treating yourself or others to a break in the company of excellent coffee.
