Title: Works well, extra buttons on the underside.
Review: Three methods of connection, 2.4 ghz wireless , Bluetooth and wired, wireless modes have a stable connection with no perceivable latency, polling rate 125hz wireless, 1000hz wired.Feels comfortable in the hand, joysticks feel good as do all the buttons and D-pad.Four extra flat buttons on the underside which could come into use with some Pc games that have many different control inputs such as Microsoft Flight Simulator.Had a few games of RDR2 and Bioshock 2, the controller performed as it should with no problems.Windows 10 and Pc games see this as an original X box controller even though it is third party.Price is a little on the high side compared with other options.

Review: I have several BIGBIG WON controllers and I really like them. I think this one is just as good. It feels really great to hold. It’s got a good weight to it. There are no sticky buttons or anything like that.This one also has Hall Effect sticks, which are supposedly immune to stick drift. Only the test of time will tell how true that is, but so far they feel great. I will say that there is a trade off to Hall Effect sticks and that is they are not quite as accurate as regular sticks. For most games this is mostly imperceptible, but you might notice it in games where situations where you have to be pin-point accurate.This controller claims they’ve developed a new algorithm that overcomes this problem and that these Hall Effect sticks are more accurate than other Hall Effect sticks. I haven’t done enough testing to see how true that actually is, so I can’t verify that. I can say that they do feel really nice and smooth and responsive to use.I really like the customization options with how you can swap out the sticks and adjust their length to your preference. That’ pretty helpful. I prefer a shorter stick on the left and a longer one of the right.I’ve been using it with both my PC and my Switch. With PC I’m using it wired and with Switch I’m using the Bluetooth connection. Both methods worked flawlessly. Setup was a breeze and I’ve had no issues with lag or latency.All in all this is a fantastic controller and I plan on playing with this for a very long time.

Review: So Iâ€™m kinda meh about this controller. While it does feel nice in the hands being light and all the buttons are responsive and work. The joysticks feel like cheap plastic, thankfully no stick drift so far. You do have to hold down the power button on the controller for a good second rather than just a regular push for it to turn on. The Bluetooth connects right away but one thing about it is that as Iâ€™m looking around in game on my pc there is sometimes a delay in the turning and it can hang for a slight second. Give in mind Iâ€™m not playing online so itâ€™s not a lag issue with connection. Iâ€™m playing a single player offline game and this is happening. Yes all drivers and everything is updated. But it makes using this controller kinda blah and it wouldnâ€™t be my first choice of a controller picking up or even my 2nd or 3rd. Also the movement delay is really annoying. But other than those issues so far, I hope there wonâ€™t be more, the turbo function and all works good.

There is stippling grip molded into the plastic all around that feels very nice to the touch. I personally prefer this type of grip to rubber as it helps prevent sweat buildup on my hands.Look: This controller is absolutely fantastic looking with the exception of one major flaw that I see on many budget controllers. The home button in the center of the controller glows a horribly ugly bright green when used on PC with no option to disable or change it. It looks awful and completely ruins the otherwise clean black and orange color scheme. Even in console mode the light is red unlike the orange it shows in the pictures. However, the controller is easy enough to disassemble that I decided to put some black electrical tape over the led on the circuit board that blocks all light from shining through. It’s an easy mod but one that I shouldn’t have to do myself. Perform this mod at your own risk.Connection: This controller supports both wired and Bluetooth connections. It also includes a 2.4ghz dongle for a faster and more stable connection.Joysticks: These joysticks are hall effect meaning you shouldn’t experience stick drift. They snap right back to center and feel very smooth and responsive. The shape feels similar to a PS4 controller with the rounded convex center and outer ridge. You also get the option to tweak the deadzones via the software.Face Buttons: These are membrane buttons like the kind you’d find on first party controllers. They feel exactly like the stock Xbox controller and are poppy and responsive.D-Pad: The d-pad is also membrane and feels quite nice. I enjoy the 4 point design though some may prefer the dish.Triggers: The triggers feel nice and smooth. You have the option to tweak responsiveness in the software.Shoulder bumpers: These shoulder bumpers feature a nice, tactile click. They are responsive and require just the right amount of force.Rear buttons: This controller features four remapable rear buttons that follow the design that I believe was pioneered by the Vader 3 Pro. Compared to that controller, I actually prefer the Gall Hall. The buttons on the Gale Hall are ever so slightly easier to press and are covered in very definitely stippling grip. These aspects are very helpful as you are typically pressing them at an off angle.Other buttons Start/select, Home, and screenshot all work just fine, nothing special to point out. There is function button that can be used to remap the rear buttons on the fly and activate the turbo function. I was quite surprised to find that it can also be used to adjust volume on a PC, an unexpected but wonderful feature to have.Software This controller does come with software that, while quite janky, gets the job done. You can create profiles, setup macros, remap buttons, adjust the joysticks, etc. While you can map buttons to keyboard presses, you are limited to the standard alphabet keys. This means no buttons like Ctrl, Alt, Shift, etc. and no macros, a huge missed opportunity that makes the unique feature pretty much useless.Misc Though the images feature a charging dock, I was surprised to see that it does not include one. I believe that they were trying to convey that it is compatible with the charging dock from another listing, though it did feel quite misleading. There is an included paper manual that explains everything the controller can do. It can be a bit difficult to understand at times but once everything clicks you probably won’t need it anyway.Verdict This controller is not without flaw. There are a couple shortcomings I’d really love to see fixed in a future revision, a Gale Hall 2. But as is, it still offers a complete package that I find myself quite frequently choosing over other options in my collection.

Review: Listing is a bit confusing with some of the pictures showing the dock, but that is a different item that costs more. Anyway, it seems to be a really nice controller. The hall effect sticks are super sensitive and work really well. Controller connected right away with it’s included dongle and works great. Great xbox style replacement controller. I’m only using it on PC so unsure how it works elsewhere.

Unlike my previous controller, which took forever to connect and lagged, this one connected to my Fire Stick and Luna games in literally seconds. I turned it on, went to Bluetooth settings, selected it as an Xbox controller, and it worked immediatelyâ€”no delays, no issues. The connection was seamless, and everything responded quickly and smoothly. If youâ€™ve had trouble with other controllers, this one is the solution. Itâ€™s fast, easy to set up, and works flawlessly. Iâ€™m extremely happy with it.
