Review: Looks amazing as I didn’t want to use a plastic or metal bulky thing. The mat is thick with ridges that are quite strong to keep wet dishes in place so storage capacity is excellent. Value for money is excellent so I bought 2. Cleans quickly and after a quick fairy and looks amazing again. Add that modern look to a new kitchen. Happy with this purchase. Oh it’s really good for placing hot pots as well, it does not mark with the hot bottoms.

Review: A well-made mat in a stylish modern colour, that I use as a secondary draining surface to the right of my sink.Don’t expect miracles, though! I’ve read a lot of reviews of draining boards and mats that just ignore the physics of water. Is your bath bone dry minutes after you get out of it? Or your car when it stops raining? This mat doesn’t magically wick away moisture from your dishes or glasses and then turn bone dry itself. tt merely lifts them up enough for excess water to run off between its grooves – and it won’t even do that if you place items reeling wet from your washing bowl. But give them a shake, put them aside, leave them overnight, and you should get perfectly satisfactory results.Pick up the mat and fold it along the central channel to allow the runoff to drain into your sink. Hey presto! You’re good to go again.As with any repeatedly wetted surface in your house, residue and mould can become a problem if you don’t routinely clean the mat. Again, this is not a bug, but an unavoidable feature. I suggest using an old toothbrush which makes it easy to get in between the grooves.
