Title: Works superbly for Windows Hello
Review: The Wo-we Windows Hello camera is supplied in a nice looking cardboard box and is well protected with a foam insert. It is easy to unpack and seems reasonably well made. In my example, the camera section is slightly misaligned to the built in stand and as a result it will not quite sit level with the top of my monitor (pic 9). This does not appear to cause any issues in use but I would perhaps expect better quality control and build quality at this price. The set includes the camera and a user manual.
I was interested in this device because it would allow me to use facial recognition as part of my Windows Hello login process. I must say that when set up it works superbly and copes with me with or without my reading glasses. The set up process was very straight forward and it is more or less plug and play. I plugged the camera in with my computer already switched on. Therefore, please note, that it was necessary for me to restart the computer before Windows Hello recognised the camera as a valid device. If you plug in before you switch on the this should not be an issue. It is probably just needed for Windows to properly set up the driver and so forth. The information in the supplied user manual is pretty good, if a little small and there is on-line help available within Windows should you need it.
As a camera the Wo-we also works pretty well. I use a fairly dark ‘man-cave’ and was able, with appropriate lighting, to get a decent image that is sufficient for most purposes. In better natural light any graininess is much reduced and so that is probably a better option for most. The control of picture distortion is very impressive with little or no barrel distortion detectable. The door frame behind my seat is perfectly straight. The slight tilt on my camera is not reflected in the images I am getting and so I assume some automatic level adjustment is also being applied. The autofocus is a useful bonus feature that also worked well in all of my tests.
It is a similar story with the in built microphones. These again work well and noise suppression is extremely good. For meetings the camera is ideal. My voice is loud and clear and I can even have the radio on quietly in the background and it does not come through on the microphone. The pictures are certainly good enough for Zoom, Teams and the like and given good light conditions there is little to criticise about the quality.
I have given 5 stars because this camera does what I wanted it to do with Windows Hello and also doubles up very nicely for general use. The low light picture quality could be better but distortion is very well controlled and in good natural light the picture quality is very much improved. The sound is similarly very good and works very well for meeting and recordings. If you do not need the facial recognition functionality then there may be other options out there but all in all this is a good solid package that does most things extremely well. As such and given its quality and functionality it also represents fairly good value.

Review: About to return, Cameron is very flimsily built, has a bluish hue to it, often fails to wake up when starting laptop and has an unusual FOV that doesn’t lend well to Video Calls.

Title: Privacy and quality in a webcam
Review: This was easy to set up with comprehension instructions provided, a quick and simple process that was pretty much a plug and play experience.
It has worked exactly as promised and the facial recognition is really good.
The webcam aspect has provided a clear, stable picture, ideal for meetings or in my case the kids having to work from home again.
It looks unobtrusive on the monitor, is well styled with a slim and sleek design.

Title: The device did not work on my PC or on two laptops so it has been returned.
Review: The product did not work on any of the three computers on which it was tried so it must have been defective. It hgas been returned using the Amazon return system which was easy and efficient. The cost of the item has been refunded. Pity the item was defective but it has at least allowed me to try the Amazon return serice at my local Post office and that worked perfectly and quickly; the refund service was also quick.

Title: Good audio and face recognition but expensive
Review: The main selling point of this is its Windows Hello integration, and I am happy to report that it works great. Setup was simple and it works pretty much by itself.
The webcam itself is a pretty generic unit, with only a 720p output. The picture is nice and clear though, and for an office environment the most important thing is the audio clarity – in this case it is very good. The stereo mics capture a wide field of audio and remove background noise automatically.
The main problem with this product is the price which is not justified by the specification. If it was a namebrand then perhaps the price would be more acceptable, but this is a generic company with no history in the UK, so that is always a worry.
I would personally say that unless you are able to get it for about £30 then perhaps you should pay more for a Microsoft or Logitech equivalent, as they will be full 1080p and have better technical support.
Overall it narrowly gets fours star.
