Title: Looks and works great – speed and cable let it down
Review: I’ve used Orico before – as you can see I use a 2.5 inch mSATA to USB enclosure from them. I’ve had no issues with that before, and this enclosure is pretty good too – except for being a bit slow (see the CrystalDiskMark result, this is with the WD SN550 inside connected to a USB 3.0 external port). This new M.2 NVMe enclosure works well, though it is a bit slow especially for handling NVMe drives. Make sure you’ve placed the USB-C connector flush with the plastic so you don’t have problems plugging the cable in. It looks great and it wasn’t hard to set up. Included is a thermal pad, but no instructions included on how to apply it. According to some Italian Amazon review, you should apply it to the included heatsink, not your M.2 drive.I’d recommend getting this if you don’t have TBs of data to transfer and like the transparent aesthetic. Title: Used this to clone working OS onto a new NVMe M2 SSD
Review: Upgraded my M2 P1 Crucial 500 GB to a 1M2 TB Samsung 970 EVO using this M2 NVMe to USB converter.You can use Samsung Magician, which is free to use, if both drives are from Samsung. Same goes with Crucials’ app.In my case, i was going from a Crucial to a Samsung drive. Cant use either app to clone. I had to use Acronis.I used the 2020 Acronis version for current March 1st 2023 build of winblows. Worked.Once you install your M2 SSD into this enclosure you need to go into disk management and initialize the disk so your winblows can see it and work with it. Till then your winblows wont see it at all even though the task manager has the icon to remove this device.I hit the silicone lottery jackpot and this thing saw both my drives. Some chips are weird and only will work with certain hardware even though they state they work with certain protocols.Very cool looking clear see through drive. Well made. The only thing i can see not last is the plastic sliding cover. I think the tabs locking the cover in place will eventually wear down. If you do not open and close this thing all the time you won have to worry. If you do then you are going to have to deal with a sliding cover that wont lock. Nothing a little bit of electrical tape wont fix though.The adapter came with 2 cables even though the manual only states it comes with one. You get a USB C to USB 3 and a USB C to USB C.This thing also comes with a M2 Standoff as well as the tiny screw and you get a cool little screw driver. The actual case this thing comes in is quite handy as well. Going to keep it. I am talking about the physical cardboard box. Inside you get the plastic “housing” that stores the drive. I am not goign to chuck that and keep it.You wont be disappointed with this thing.

Title: Easy to use, but no locking mechanism for cover
Review: Bough this as I needed to clone a drive image to a few m.2 drives and this was the most cost effective solution. Housing looks great and does the job. Unfortunately the housing is not held together very well, just clipped together like the battery cover of a TV remote. There is no securing or locking screws or tabs. I am happy to use this housing when at a desk but would prefer something sturdier for travelling or using it outside.

Title: Overheats and fails
Review: As other NVME enclosures, the USBNVMe controller overheats and fails. This enclosure seems to cool the NVMe storage, a bit, because if you don’t leave the plastic film on the top of the thermal pads you will just drag the whole thermal pad… what a dumb design, after almost getting it right, by being able to open the top instead of having to slide the circuit board in, they make the final attachment to require to slide the heatsink over the NVMe drive.Anyway, the chips on the controller don’t have any heatsink, no matter what you do, if you try to copy 50GB across it will fail, it will corrupt the filesystem and you will be better off just buying a dedicated external storage from Samsung or Crucial.

Review: Procure vídeo no YouTube que ensina colocar a etiqueta térmica que acompanha o produto. Falta manual mais explicativo sobre a utilização da etiqueta térmica. O produto é bom e prático. Troquei meu hd original de 256 gb para um novo de 1 tb. Este produto permitiu que o hd de 256 gb fosse utilizado como backup, evitando o descarte prematuro de um hd bom. Parece ser durável mas tem parte em acrílico que pode quebrar se cair. Se for usado com cuidado, parece ter boa durabilidade.

Review: içinden çıkan kabloyla ssd nizin vaad ettiği hızları almanız imkansız. ilgisi olabilir mi bilmiyorum ama kendi kablosuyla hem düşük hızlar hemde daha fazla ısınmaya yol açıyor. yani bu kutuyu aldığınız zaman birde kaliteli bir aktarım kablosu edinmeniz gerekiyor.bunuda göz önünde bulundurmanız lazım. genel olarak kutununn çalışması yeterli.
